In a way I'm rather happy Adam wasn't selected as judge for S13; due to the materialisation and success of QAL thereafter; which actually notched up Adam's standing in the music alumni by a forward leap. Now the higher hierarchy artists take note of Adam's singing capability and showmanship, a lot more. His performances of Killer Queen, WWTLF, TSMGO etc. are I think irreplaceable. My favourite somehow is, I Want To Break Free.
Adam on the other hand feels this comfortable confidence and acceptance a lot more when meeting these more well-established celebrities; not to say he didn't feel confident before.
Thanks to Roger and Dr Brian who literally took him by the collar lol! and asked the world audiences: What do you think of our new Man?...which was met with thunderous applause and shouts of approval. Yes these two very experienced artists knew what they had stumbled onto...a large gold nugget, maybe even a gold mine lwl! and also something intangibly inspirational .
Adam is a singing phenomenon and he knows clearly the ins and outs of this very intricate art, on top of that, with such humility.

Mmm got side-tracked a little...okay what Harry said about selecting the contestants as they see their 'worth' on day one, is the best way, I think too; because if it's based on potential...what if the potential doesn't measure up to their expectation or the AI criteria.
This reminds me of the brush, AI8 Kara had with Simon...that they should let Adam through simply based on his singing of Mama lol! when Simon said it was theatrical.
Actually, Adam is so much part of the AI tapestry, he will always be The Runner-Up! and now new title The Stand-In! lwl! Because Adam is always ready to step right in; be it on Glee, AI or Freddie's Bohemian Rhapsody, in and out, with such ease. That to me is Adam's real mastery/sifu.

I got a chuckle when Adam said JLo showed him her "booty" video. Way to get to know someone real fast! As usual, Adam just laughed it off and said it was "hot"! Nothing phases Adam! I remember he stated in an interview that he never gets embarrassed and I believe it! You have to love Adam - he fits in everywhere he goes and he's always himself which is so great!

I agree nancdruuu2 Nothing fazes him, he is Mr Cool, just a dream.
