Adam Lambert praises Sam Smith's live 'vocal masterclass'
Adam Lambert has talked up Sam Smith after seeing him perform live.The vocal powerhouse checked out the 'Stay With Me' star in Los Angeles earlier this week (September 30).
It seems the US star was wholly impressed by the Brit, who is touring in support of his debut album 'In The Lonely Hour'.
Lambert uploaded a video online after the gig, adding: "@samsmithworld was fantastic last night! Vocal masterclass!"
Smith replied: "Thank you so much for coming brother xxxx."
The former American Idol star later uploaded a photo of himself at the gig with a bunch of other people including Jake Shears, with the singer writing:
"At the @samsmithworld show w @jakeshears @mark_cramer @daniellestori @negativeneil My Mama and Ray! Good vibes great music."

I lead a sheltered life, and had never heard of Sam Smith. Must have been a family celebration for Adam to take family and friends to see him. May be Brian told Adam about him, but they all seemed to have an enjoyable evening, probably followed with a little after party fun. Adam likes to champion fellow gay musicians, although it is much more accepted in UK, than in US.
Sam Smith is very popular in the US. Adam is paving the way.
Sam Smith has been in our top 10 charts here in NZ for a while now to, I love his single Stay with me.
