I Queen arrivano in Italia per la prima volta dal vivo accompagnati dalla splendida voce di Adam Lambert, in un’unica e imperdibile data il prossimo 10 febbraio a Milano.
Dopo i numerosi sold out del tour americano, la leggendaria band inglese che fu di Freddy Mercury, farà rivivere al pubblico italiano e ai suoi fan il mito dei Queen con un concerto unico e straordinario al Mediolanum Forum di Assago.
L’incontro tra Adam Lambert ex concorrente di American Idol e i Queen risale al 2009 durante la finale del talent show, dove si sono esibiti insieme per la prima volta sulle notte di We Are The Champion” ed è stato subito feeling.
Adam Lambert si è dimostrato un cantante straordinario e dalla voce vicina a quella di Freddy Mercury tanto da affascinare e colpire positivamente May e Taylor che han deciso di iniziare una collaborazione con il cantante.
Infatti si sono esibiti insieme sul palco degli MTV EMA nel 2011 e nell’estate 2012 in una serie di concerti, tra cui tre sold out a Londra.
Il successo di pubblico e critica, a seguito dell’ esibizione dei Queen e di Adam Lambert sul palco dell’iHeartRadio Music Festival di Las Vegas, ha caricato di entusiasmo la band che ha deciso di portare in tour lo show.
«Da un punto di vista tecnico, a differenza del 2012, si tratta di una produzione più completa – racconta Adam Lambert – Dovremo visitare molte città e questo ci ha portati a decidere insieme di progettare dei visual e un palco particolare».
«Il nostro set ha un design del tutto innovativo – dice Brian May – È grande e molto audace. Spingeremo tutto al massimo!».
«Ogni volta che abbiamo suonato la nostra musica con Adam, lui si è dimostrato un frontman incredibile – sostiene Roger Taylor – È sensazionale. Ha un’estensione sorprendente, e riesce ad eguagliare quella di Freddie. È un cantante straordinario e un vero talento. Sento che si adatta perfettamente alla nostra teatralità, è proprio a suo agio».
Il prossimo 15 novembre uscirà il nuovo lavoro della band dal titolo Queen Forever, una raccolta che include anche materiale inedito registrato con Freddie Mercury, mentre Adam Lambert è attualmente impegnato nella lavorazione del suo terzo album, dopo il successo dei precedenti “For Your Entertainment” e “Trespassing.
I biglietti dell’evento, prodotto e organizzato da Barley Arts, in vendita da mercoledi 1 ottobre sono stati venduti in poche ore, per un concerto che si annuncia gia tanto sold out.
Intanto cresce l’attesa tra i fan per vedere dal vivo il ritono dei Queen.

Tickets to the event, produced and arranged by Barley Arts, on sale from Wednesday 1 October were sold in a few hours, for a concert that promises so much already sold out.
