to share between the 3 of them. The overhead was huge, tell me if I am wrong.

I think you are pretty close to being absolutely correct.. We had an article posted here recently that discussed the various amounts that shows/concerts produced.. The expenses, the salaries for all of the various road crew, transportations costs, etc.. etc.. And what the major headliners would stand to net after expenses.. The Queen show was considered a very expensive show, but also did well in ticket sales..

Anne Marie.....So my estimate based on their net earnings, 30% of 24 million, divided into 3 shares is approximately $2+ million each. Not bad but definitely a whole lot of talents and hard work. But actually, it's much more due to its compound/multiplier returns when reinvested.

I think Adam made more money on his first tour of his own. His overhead was about 80% lower, but he performed about 140 venues, compared to approx. 30 performances with Queen. If you can make at least $1,000,000 singing, you are doing OK, it is all pleasure for him. He is in his "Happy Place" where he is completely himself, doing what he loves (except for sex, which probably qualifies right up there, but no money)

From Brian and Roger's perspective, they have said money is not why they are bringing music all around the world...they got more than surplus to see them through...it's totally their passion and art; money is just the by-product. For Adam, yes more so the money but not money per se. These three artists have a very deep love for what they do; in Adam's case, a burning desire to connect with people, learn from them and vice versa.
