Adam Lambert seems to have noticed a lot of straight male pop stars courting the gay male audience lately, and it’s made him curious. “Anyone find it interesting how straight male Pop stars r pandering to gay audiences lately!? Should we be flattered? Progress or strategy? No shade. I just wanna hear about music! Not be teased on weather someone MIGHT be bi curious or gay or straight. Who cares?! Lol” Lambert is speaking generally, but the straight male pop star that seems to be most actively courting gay audiences these days is Nick Jonas.

why is Adam Lambert curious? He has said that straight men and women do nothing for him. Nick Jonas has a a beautiful woman, so I don't think he is slightly interested in gay men. He just won't discriminate but appreciate. I think Adam made that statement once. Music lovers shouldn't have a limit on the music that appeals to their senses. If you don't like the artist and what they stand for, don't buy it.
there are so many straight people that enjoy gay porn, music etc... why is sex so taboo? one of the most talked about subjects known to man. Humans are sexual beings, and express it in every walk of life. Fashion, music, movies, cars etc... spells SEX. why is this 3 letter word so enticing?
To be honest, gay people by and large are very artistic, almost any field; music is another business so what better group of talented people to pander to than the welcoming artistic gay people. Art needs people for it to thrive and to broaden its scope.
By the way, this Adam picture is one of the favourite poster pictures; but this combination / pose is interestingly whimsical. lwl!

As a part of a minority group in my country, I understand why Adam tweeted about this. I won't get into details but for centuries my group has been discriminated against and our properties confiscated by majority group. Now all of a sudden we are getting support from this majority group. Sometimes we wonder are they doing it for their own personal gain or are they really genuine with their support?

So what?! There are several threads of the same issues constantly, QAL, Am Idol, X-Factor, Halloween and so on. Each writer may bring something new or hrr/his own twist... No biggie. Scroll is your friend, I've been taught. :)
Adam is curious because this is rather a new thing to see. Most straight male performers may "pander" to female fans but not to gay fans. Does it represent progress that being gay is more acceptable or is it just another way to bring in more dollars? I'm leaning towards both.
@6:32, IMHO You have missed the point... and actually, are illustrating why Adam made his query!
Thanks to most of the rest of you, interestings posts!
I looked into this "exchange" the other day when it originally unfolded, because I do find Adam's tweet legit and compelling... but someone replied to him suggesting that it was more the media, or artists PR teams, that forwarded this idea and the use of it... and Adam responded "GOOD POINT", which is was! I dig Adam's open-mindedness to his tweet being challenged, and built upon!
4:47 here. I didn't mean to sound like I was throwing shade to any one, or few, posters in my comment just above, my apologies!
