So, remember how we were just talking about Nick Jonas and how he’s using his body to help sell his new album?
The fact that he’s doing that is totally not a shock to anyone. But one thing that people have been talking about recently is that he seems to especially be working it for his gay fan.
As Towleroad put it, “Yes, Nick Jonas Is (Sort of) Queerbaiting His Gay Fans. So What?” One person who has noticed the “queerbaiting” is Adam Lambert.

Well, I guess we're in for some Jonas/Lambert discussion in the media for a while. :)
The title on Social life is misleading, like Adam may be critical of Jonas pandering " to gay fans which didn't seem the case for me, thinking that Adam just posed an interesting question to fans for discussion. I personally see nothing wrong in strategizing to increase your fan base. Adam has done it, giving a shout out in predominantly Jewish Miami @ the Fontainebleau mentioning his Jewish roots to form a connection and also shooting the Details masterpiece with the beautiful female model to "throw us straight, female fans an erotic bone" to feed our fun fantasies. He took a lot of flack for that from Out magazine and set them straight. Adam is an equal opportunity pleaser, doing his best to include all fans and their diversity. Just good networking in my opinion. Jonas is just doing the same, only situating himself in the gay strip clubs for the same benefit. I personally don't find Jonas hairy chest attractive, would much rather see Adam's, but to each his own.lol I think Adam ultimately would like to see the separation of the gay and straight communities no longer be an issue, just everyone able to enjoy music for it's own sake, regardless of the artist's sexual orientation.
Storm in a teacup. Female artists flaunt their sexuality at whim. I don't think they care whether the audience is straight and/or LGBT, as long as there IS an audience.
