AdminFan...this is really enjoyable; Brian got centre-stage to display his showmanship which was not so visible before Adam became part of the Queen family, as Brian so warmly included him. I have this feeling, Adam might have lured Brian out of his usual comfort zone, from staying in the background as opposed to being centre-stage. That touched him a lot I think; now Brian is so full of life; it's as if he got wings to fly even higher than before. That is a real good feeling of almost complete freedom to do what he loves as a performer as himself, rather than as a backing band guitarist; so different from his performance on the S8 finale and other Queen videos. You notice, Adam subtly disappears to give Brian the centre-stage. That's why I always call Adam Sifu because that's what a Sifu does, let another person shine.

Brian has never been 'a backing band guitarist'.

Lam-my, obviously you're not a Queen fan from the '70s, otherwise you would never say that Brian is a backing band guitarist. I know this to be true, having seen Queen perform with Freddie numerous times. The WHOLE band was a force to be reckoned with, hence their long-standing reputation as one of the greatest bands in the world.
