I will not say a bad thing about American Idol even though my enthusiasm for the show has declined since season 8 ended. Idol gave us Adam and I am grateful for that, plus they bring him back every year. I remember how cool it was when he was a mentor for season 9. They compared him to Elvis in the introduction and Adam performed a smashing WWFM to conclude his gig. It was amazing. I'm so stoked to see him on the judge's table next week!

Will Adam be on the Wednesday night show or the Thursday night show?

What a great full circle that is. Can't wait to watch it.

@Gabi
When Adam came back as mentor during that Elvis Songs theme week, oh lawdy lawdy was he ever fantastic. His was BEYOND GORGEOUS, adorable, likeable, smart, charming... but almost more importantly, he was dead on with his advice... and delivered it with charisma and a delicate touch to the contestants. Believe it or not, I actually don't generally gush about Adam this much, lol, but I will never forget those appearances during that Elvis Theme week, I just thought he was fabulous... as he has remained to be... not perfect, as none of us are, but seemingly a nice person, and one hell of an entertainer.

The year he mentored the only contestant that handled an Elvis song with conviction was Crystal Bowersox.

Yes, that Crystal Bowersox performance was excellent.

As we see pictures and videos and personal appearances of Adam on tv shows, we can see the changes in him over the last 6 years. He has gotten away from the glitz, glitter and makeup and has become a very stylish, handsome, mature individual. I love to listen to him during those longer interviews he has done for radio shows or the print media. He is intelligent, witty and charismatic. I have lost interest in Idol since Adam was on during Season 8, but I will watch this Thursday when he subs for Keith Urban. I don't think the show produces a superstar any more, but I won't pass up watching the NYC auditions just to see Adam(the only one I ever voted for on the show).

Adam is the only contestant to return to the show in some capacity every year after his own year. That says something. First contestant to mentor. First contestant to judge. And all the in-betweens. He has never once disparaged the show. He's a gem.

Looks like Adam's golden ticket turned out to be pure gold:)

I'm so happy for Adam, yes he is doing a full circle. Like the song that Adam sang Change is Going to Come. Yes indeed. A Glambert forever.

Adam has always brought passion to his fans in every capacity. I have always appreciated his Idol appearances. So many contestants try to distance themselves from the show, but Adam has never taken the easy lane. He is not ashamed to have been discovered on the show, but has always embraced it.

Adam is listed as being on Thursday 01/l5/15 only! I hope there is a huge ratings bonanza that night!

Someone posted in the Nile/Adam twitter thread that a listing in some tv site posted both nights as a must see; but Adam's name was the only one listed for Thursday the 15th; mentioning that he would be a guest judge. I guess Fox/Idol feels that Adam's will bring in some additional viewers! Can't wait to see our man!! I am spreading the word of his appearance!!

Adam is a busy man; he has said he's happiest being busy doing what he loves. He also said, when he was younger, that if he could entertain people for the rest of his life; that he would be a happy man!!

There is nothing better than having a career in something you really love to do. Adam has found his place on the stage in music. I think that Adam will entertain people as long as possible. I never tire of listening to his amazing vocal abilities and watching him perform on stage. I would love to see him on Broadway either in some musical revival or in a role written specifically for him. I'd be the first in line to get tickets. But for now I am waiting for the release of his third album, hoping that it will be sooner rather than later this year. I think that 2015 will be the best yet for Adam Lambert.

Adam has told us many times, although Broadway is not off his list of possible things he might do, but he has done musicals and they are too confining for his artistic abilities, and thus he gets bored. I think he would only do it if there was nothing else offered. He would rather be acting, if he is not singing. We have seen that at the concerts, even though the songs are the same, he changes them up constantly, his own concerts and Queens.

He has said recently when asked; that he had been approached. He said that if the right vehicle came along; he would be interested!

Don't forget that there is the possibility for AI to show a quick clip or for Ryan S to mention Adam as guest mentor Wednesday night. Could be why they mention watching both nights.
