Here is a review of the Paris show from the website JustMusic.fr written by, I believe, its Editor in Chief, Vincent Kheng.  This is a Google Translate version of the review so, as glitzylady posted with the Paris Match review earlier, the translation is a bit choppy, but you'll definitely get the gist of it.

JustMusic.fr:  "Queen + Adam Lambert at the Zenith in Paris: We were there!"
English Translation from French via Google Translate (everything written below was strictly copied and pasted from the translation, no editing done by me; link to original review in French is provided at the end):

Currently on tour, Queen and Adam Lambert were last night at the Zenith in Paris for a unique concert (Gerard Drouot Productions)!

The group decided to choose Adam to take the place of Freddie Mercury on stage (the former lead singer of Queen is of course irreplaceable). The interpreter of the hit "Whataya want from me," Brian May had won during his participation in the 8th season of the show "American Idol" with his rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody."

The singer of 32 years is now on stage to resume Queen tubes to the delight of fans of the group.

The Parisian audience was very numerous and the Zenith was packed! The concert started with "One Vision" and the fans were in a trance!

Adam Lambert has a lot of charisma and set fire in the room. It is with much energy he chained the tubes while changing outfits. He even lying on a small couch for the title "Killer Queen".

Cheered by the crowd, Brian May performed with his guitar the title "Love of my life." He engaged the public and a video of Freddie Mercury was also accompanied for a virtual duet. The other members of the group then joined for "39 '" and "It's a Kind of Magic".

After a bass solo and a battery of battle, Adam Lambert is back on stage for "Under pressure". The evening continued with still many hits such as "Radio ga ga" or "The show must go on." We also got some nice moments, like during his rendition of "Who wants to live forever."

Freddie Mercury was present throughout the evening in the heart of his former henchmen but also in the public. His image was projected again in "Bohemian Rhapsody," which allowed a new virtual duet but this time with Adam Lambert.

Before the recall, the image of a hand with a pencil was shown on the giant screen to refer to the attacks of the last weeks. A nice gesture that was much appreciated in the room. This exceptional evening then ended with the tubes "We Will Rock You" and "We are the champions".

Queen and Adam Lambert were all under the confetti to greet the audience that does not stop clapping and screaming.

We had a great evening, and though the show lasted about 2:30 we did not see the time!

"Queen forever" is still available in stores and on iTunes , for Adam Lambert, it will come out in the course of his third album.

Here is the setlist of the evening:

- Stone cold crazy
- Another one bites the dust
- Fat bottomed girls
- In the Lap of the Gods
- Seven Seas of Rhye
- Killer Queen
- I want to break free
- Do not stop me now
- Somebody to love
- Love of my life
- 39 '
- It's a Kind of Magic
- Solo Bass
- Drum Battle
- Under pressure
- Save me
- Who wants to live forever
- Guitar solo
- Tie your mother down
- I want it all
- Radio ga ga
- Crazy little thing called love
- The show must go on
- Bohemian rhapsody

Reminder:

- We will rock you
- We are the champions

Thanks broddybouncer.

I love the French/English translations ....

"The interpreter of the hit "Whataya want from me," Brian May had won during his participation in the 8th season of the show "American Idol" with his rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody." LOL! I guess Brian would be surprised about that!!

And "a battery of battle" .... maybe that's referring to the "drum" battle.

Oh! Here I go again ... LOL ... boy do I need @BlackberryDT to translate this one & the two previous reviews. What is the meaning of the 'pencil & paper' on screen?? I love the idea of 'joining ADAM on the sofa' ... yes, she got that right! LOL ... I just love these Paris reviews ... Thanx for posting them .... they really brighten up my day!! LOL

Thanks, guys! Very good guesses, @5:35am!

And Lambert Outlaw: yes! I too absolutely loved "joining Adam on the sofa" -- brilliant! :)

And if you (or anyone) come up with better translations, let us know.

The "pencil & paper" -- that is a tribute to Charlie Hebdo, which is not a person but the name of the French satirical newspaper whose offices were gunned down a few weeks ago by extremists and staffers lost their lives. The symbol that was shown is the newspaper's symbol, which can be found in their masthead here: http://charliehebdo.fr/ The display of the symbol would have had great meaning and poignancy to the French people.

I was gonna answer to the questions but hey someone beat me to it :) Yup "the pencil and paper" touched us very very much :) We were already up, but if it hadn't be the case we would all have got to our feet for that.

Anyway, I will tackle these three translations, probably one today ( in Paris it's 6pm, so probably in a few hours) and the other to tomorrow (again Paris time talking) but they're coming, I just have actual schoolwork to do right now so ... Promise it's coming, just later :)

Done :) Less weird things than in the other I've done, but the "reminder" was quite funny x)

Currently on tour, Queen and Adam Lambert were last night at the Zenith in Paris for an only show (Gerard Drouot Productions)!

The band decided to choose Adam to take Freddie Mercury's place on stage (the former lead singer of Queen is of course irreplaceable). The singer of the hit "Whataya want from me," had charmed Brian May during his participation in the 8th season of the show "American Idol" with his rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody."

The 32 year-old singer is now on stage to cover Queen's hits for the delight of the band's fans.

The Parisian audience was very numerous and the Zenith was packed! The concert started with "One Vision" and the fans were in a trance!

Adam Lambert has a lot of charisma and set the room on fire. It is very energetically that he lined up the hits, but still taking the time to change outfits. He even lain on a small couch for the song "Killer Queen".

Cheered by the crowd, Brian May performed with his guitar the song "Love of my Life." He made the audience participate and a video of Freddie Mercury was also accompanying him for a virtual duet. The other members of the group then joined him for "39 '" and "It's a Kind of Magic".

After a bass solo and a drums' battle, Adam Lambert is back on stage for "Under Pressure". The evening went on with many more hits such as "Radio ga ga" or "The Show Must Go On." We also got some nice moments, like during his rendition of "Who Wants to Live Forever."

Freddie Mercury was present throughout the evening in the heart of his former henchmen but also in the audience ones. His image was projected once more during "Bohemian Rhapsody," which made a new virtual duet possible but this time with Adam Lambert.

Before the encore, the image of a hand holding a pencil was shown on the big screen referring to the attacks of the last weeks. A nice gesture that was very appreciated by the audience. This exceptional evening then ended with the hits "We Will Rock You" and "We are the Champions".

Queen and Adam Lambert gathered under the confetti to bow in front of an audience that kept applauding and shouting.

We had a great evening, and though the show lasted about 2:30, time just slipped away!

"Queen forever" is still available in stores and on iTunes, and concerning Adam Lambert, his third album will come out in the course of this year.

Thank you once again @broddybounce and @BlackberryDT for explaining about the image of the pencil on the screen. I'm afraid I didn't know much about the tragedy to make the connection. Also thank you for your more understandable translations ... I get confused without them although I must confess the others do give me a chuckle & brighten up my day ... it's so cold & drab here in US on the east coast ... one storm after another. So 24/7 keeps me cheerful while I wait for the sunshine again. Bless you all at this site!! Love 'n Light

You're welcome :) Maybe if you're already depressed by the weather it's not a good idea to look for infos about the attacks of the 7th, 8th and 9th of this month... Even if the march on the 11th was a beautiful thing to witness, the entire topic of this week is definitely not cheerful...
Google translation also make me laugh, maybe just less as I end up horrified sometimes x)
And we're all in the same boat with the weather, cold, grey, rainy and windy in Paris and it's been for a few days already...

The hand with the pencil was so very thoughtful of Queen to include it as one part of their footage.
