Adam Lambert gave us a little update on Instagram today... He's been ill with severe bronchitis and had to cancel a Queen + Adam Lambert concert scheduled for today in Brussels, Belgium, on doctors orders to rest and recouperate..

Here, he's flying high over the Alps and enjoying the spectacular view below..

Queen's next concert is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 10th, 2015, in Milan, Italy..

They are wonders of nature....whether looking down from a plane or looking up up up up from a boat on a lake.

In 1997, I trained for one full year to go on a mountain climbing expedition to the Swiss Alps with about 30 other climbers from all over the world. We were there for over two weeks and I must say it was truly a powerful highlight of my life. I remember our expedition leader took us to the beautiful little graveyard on the outskirts of the Matterhorn to show us all the tombstones of adventurers who lost their lives during their climb of the Matterhorn. "BORN TO CLIMB" was engraved on the tombstone of one young man and I remember we all just stood there and cried in that absolutely majestic setting of the graveyard..........Each time I fly to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to mountain climb, I aways take a window seat on the plane to make sure I can gaze out of the window to see the grandeur of the Grand Teton Mountains. Mountains are definitely healing objects of nature, and now, Adam will get well for all of his fans! Margarita Lady

I hope Adam is absolutely better before he performs again. His health is the most important thing.

Man, there is nothing quite like taking in such natural alpine beauty than that from a helicopter.... or Cesna. I've enjoyed that experience immensely ... Over the Canadian Rockies.

Happy for Adam that he is nourishing his soul with such exquisite experiences. He also might feel cooped up in his hotel if he didn't do something in the fresh air and sunshine....

(I also hope he gets the adequate bed rest that the doctor ordered, too)

He's a big boy... And knows what he's doing.

Whatever helps him get better. :))))

My daughters and I were on a coach leaving Lucerne and heading to Venice. My girls were in the two seats in front of me, I was chatting away as my head swiveled from side to side, I was in "teacher mode" and spewing out tidbits of Swiss history.
The majesty of the Alps was stunning and I had asked my daughters a question....no reply....so I stood up and leaned over their seats....they were sound asleep! Asleep with magnificent mountains towering over us on both sides!
I gave them a shake...."Wake up!....This is the only time I'm taking you to Switzerland.....stay awake.....besides, there may be a test later!" :-))

Ahh, JAK.... that's an adorable and fantastic memory you've shared. :))

Your girls asleep... awwww... kids have the most amusing timing, sometimes, don't they? They sound precious.... :)

BTW, you may take me to Switzerland, any time. I promise I will have my eyes wide open each glorious moment....earnestly adore your "teacher-mode" lessons... and ace the test later! ;))

Just wondering (not criticizing) why is he flying the next day, if he is sick with bronchitis?

Aeroplanes and being sick (flu, headache, headcold, rhinitis, congestion, bronchitis, any respiratory illness) is not a good combination. Stuffy nose and you can get your ear drums pierced. Been there, done that. BAMMM! Auch!!!

The sceneries are breathtakingly beautiful though! ;)

Don't you guys think he's flying because their schedule requires them to fly to the next venue. I don't think this is a helicopter or pleasure ride. I'm sure he's going to their next destination, hotel & straight to bed.

Very good point Jaqui.... Most likely so. Makes a lot of sense....

Thank you for that :))
