Now I need Snapchat? Roll eyes.

Ikr I'm trying to figure it out

We're all scrambling to get the app downloaded and configured....see info in the main Blog post....

I already have that App. Easy!

Well, I guess that answers the "Will he really be there??" question.... :D

Snapchat is HUGE among certain age groups. Not a bad plan, actually. Adam will also be able to snap pics from snapchat itself and send them out in real time immediately to fans without having to upload or post anything ... Kinda cool. :))

How the hell do you use Snapchat? I have no idea? Who else downloaded Shazam because of Adam. I don't know how to use that either. Damn, I just realized how insane the Glamily is, we actually figured out he was going to iHeart before he even announced it. You realize we figured this out by visiting the iHeart website specifically to see if Adam was going. Then found a picture, in the complete back of the picture a blob, that we somehow thought looked like Adam. Zoomed in almost 4× to see if it's Adam. Hoped it was, because we saw a (far and blurry) picture of Jason Derulo beside what looked to be Adams. We all know they both are signed to Warner. Music, so if Derulo is going and we see a clear picture of him, and a somewhat bloby picture of what we suspect is Adam's picture he has to be going. Well guess what, he is and we Glamberts are so freakin' creepy. But I love my Glamily. How are we not in the running for best fan base. Seriously we're the best fanbase EVER. (;

I just downloaded via iTunes Store..

Easy to sign up once the app is on your phone, iPad, etc.. Just follow the prompts.

And then add Adam Lambert by typing into the "Search box":

Ok my Snapchat app is downloading now.

Once you've added Adam to your "friends/contacts" on Snap Chat, you'll get his notifications via your phone, etc...

Ahhhh first world problems.

I have had Snapchat for awhile (much to my son's chagrin) and find it very difficult to figure out. Good luck all! (What we do for Adam!)

Hi Kath.... :). Adam mentioned following him on @snapchat (twitter page).... So, I would think that his snapchat pictures will be featured there. Not sure if you have a Twitter account, and you may also already know. but, if not you can enter ' @snapchat twitter ' into Google and it will bring up the page to click into as it's a public page.

Otherwise, I'm certain there will be stealthy Glamberts out there (along with our very own Admin Fan) who will be bringing good things from Adam over here. :)

Ok, I've downloaded app onto my iPad (don't have an iPhone), created my account and searched for iamadamlambert and it tells me "No results!!!!" So now what?

It's 3:24pm here in L.A. and I don't see the Red Carpet live on T.V. nor are there any snapchats from Adam yet. Has anyone received anything from Adam?

I'll try and help.... Hit the little snapchat symbol wherever you see it (depending on the page you're on). It should take you to a black page with a big yellow snapchat ghost thingie. Underneath, where it says: 'Add Friends' click that one and THEN enter iamadamlambert, and see if he comes up the tap his name and add. Then you just wait for a notification that you've received a snap (it will be a number on your app on your phone)... When you tap the app again after the notification, the actual prompt will appear and you hold down the friends' name while viewing the pic/chat. There Is no actual profile page or "account" page for Adam to view on snapchat. It's for chats/pics only. So, you will find him only when he sends out something (after you add his name, that is, to "add friends")

... Oh, and you can swipe left or right for various functions while on snapchat.

Yes, depending on your phone's settings and/or you have your snapchat app notifications coming to your phone, it may come in as a regular notification like an email and all your other apps do. But, it will still show up as a number (the number of snapchats you received) right at the app (before you open it) just like the numbers that appear on your other apps on your phone. Hope that helps :))))

Calm down, anything Adam snapchats will get screencapped and brought here.

Any snapchats will show up as a number (of chats pending for you to look at). Click on the number and it brings you to a screen with who sent the chat. You will have to hold down on that chat for the entire number of seconds it shows on your screen. For example, if it says 120, then you have to hold your finger down on the screen the entire time so the whole video gets a chance to play through. (At least that's what I remember!) I don't have any chats from Adam yet. You could add livenation and practice! From the first yellow screen you can also scroll up and down. More info here:

I am so grateful I am probably not in the age group for snapchat, IG, Twitter, FB, and I only know SHAZAM as what Captain Marvel used to 'shout' as he took flight in my 1943 comic books. It's very restful to be ancient.

JAK, with your love of music you would love me Shazam. If you hear a song you like you just tap the Shazam button and it tells you the name of the song and artist, gives you links to more info (like lyrics, vids, where to buy, etc)

Okay, I think this may be what happened with snapchat:

I went to Adam's Twitter page, and he tweeted that he was excited to be "... Taking over the iHeart Snapchat Story!".

He gave this announcent AFTER his orginal tweet about snapchat. I went to the "Stories" section on my snapchat app... And lo and behold: an iHeart snapchat story (video) was there.

I'm gathering that Adam was actually filming the Snapchat video for iHeart's snapchat story.... In fact, I can hear his voice saying "look to your right, please!" to Justin Timberlake on the red-carpet stage after winning his award.... And Justin looking over at him and breaking out laughing because Adam is videoing and acting like a photographer snapping pictures. (Pretty cute moment! ;))

Anyway..... Upside is we have Snapchat footage from what I'm gathering to be Adam snapchatting iHeart's live Snapchat Story....
His added chats and captions are pretty entertaining...

Down side is that none of the snapchat story footage includes any images of Adam himself. :((

.... Still well-done and entertaining none the less... Also has Ryan S. filming a couple bits and pieces of it... Though it's Adam's phone, I believe...

For anyone who may have a hard time finding the iHeart Snapchat story (like I did) on their app: Go to the page where you can snap your own pic and snapchat. Down at the lower left corner there are three parellel lines .... Tap those and it takes you to your Stories page. You should find the iHeart Snapchat there. Long video for snapchat .... About 256 seconds...

Okay, well now I'm puzzled as it may be Ryan Seacrest's Snapchat, not Adam's... So I don't know???

Yada, thanks for your finding! Plug my earphone and load the iHeart story again, do sounds like Adam on backstage part. I guess there's few person doing the snap as some footage with the iHeart logo and some without.

I'm so wanted to know if the fire part is done by Adam. The handwriting and the drawing! I hope there's footage of Adam snapping around.

From the sounds of it on Twitter, Adam didn't have any luck with the Snap Chat thing tonight :))

Thanks Yada for the instructions on how to use Snapchat. It really helped me...I didn't receive any SC's from Adam but I was able to locate the IHeart Story and see the videos. I think the comments and drawings (arrows etc.) were Adam's. Thanks again!

Adam was just one of several artists doing the Snapchat.

This seems to be an app mostly for kids in their teens and early 20's who have nothing else to do and all the time in the world...

Does not really seem a thing to do for a celebrity of Adam's caliber, especially @an award show where he must have been in his element of actually meeting people LIVE and MINGLING, i.e. networking for future too - and maybe scanning for more cute guys to add to his 'Collection' and to be followed afterwards... hmmmmm! At least this is what I'm hoping he did and not fiddling with his phone the whole time! :)
