TV star Sauli Koskinen spent the weekend in the company of legends. - What a huikee weekend! Sauli Koskinen wrote Instagram downloaded, along with the image. Figure of a man smiling Queen drummer Roger Taylor and guitarist Brian May in between. Queen and Saul, Saul, a unifying factor is the ex-spouse Adam Lambert, who performs as a singer of Queen, filling the late Freddie Mercury require boots. The second-in-picture Instagram Saul is wearing Lambert Queen gigs used by an impressive crown. End of the week the Queen appeared in England, Liverpool and Sheffield. A few days ago, the Queen announced the concert Lamberg in September of Rock in Rio. The band 30 years ago, on the same occasion, tossed two shows were the actual media spectacle. Queen appeared in two days, a total of more than 500 000 people in the general public, in addition to the gigs were shown in over 60 of the TV.

Where is this from? When I click on the link I get asked something in Finnish. Not sure if it is OK to click on.

Anonymous said...

I clicked on the link and it gave me this article in English plus pics that have already been posted here.

This passage is really cute... "Saul, a unifying factor is the ex-spouse Adam Lambert..." So they got married secretly...lwl!
This is also funny, not ridiculing, I enjoyed it..."End of the week, the Queen appeared in England...A few days ago, the Queen announced the concert..." Whoa, we got real Royalty on board our Adam train! lwl!

This is a cute translation. :-)

Don't ya just love the google translations. We have had a lot lately, and all of them have made us laugh. Last I heard Finland referred to Adam as their ex-son-in-law. Sauli is such a sweet guy, and that picture of him between Brian and Roger, is so cute, he looks like the cat that swallowed the canary. The three of them looked extremely happy.
I think Sauli was as impressed in being in the jet, as Adam was, when he first got to go in it.
I guess Finland was pretty impressed too, to do a write up in a news paper, including pictures. Sauli is very popular in Finland, he is quite a celebrity there. Anne Marie

If you want to read the proper translation, you should go to Sauli Corner ( Miachichu has translated all the articles there). Google translations suck. And Lammy: We call our partners with whom we live (although we are not married) spouse. Sauli used the word "siippa" often when he talked about Adam. It is a slang word for spouse = live-in partner = housemate.

@8:36PM
It is from Finnish paper Iltalehti. It woke up later than the other one. Nothing new, same photos, but a little more about Queen's gigs. Link to original text: www.iltalehti.fi/viihde/2015030219286465_vi.shtml

@9:17 PM Lam-my
How do you call in your country your partner with whom you live but are not married? We in Finland call them spouses.

Lam-My said...

11:56..... The word 'spouse' refers to someone married, the husband or wife. I guess it's okay if you wish to refer to them as spouses. To answer your question, we call it cohabitation and the persons cohabitants or simply boyfriend/girlfriend living together.

Anonymous said...

Lam-my: In Finnish "marriage" is "avioliitto" and when you live with someone as if you were married it is "avoliitto", only one letter is missing. And we call our partners "aviopuoliso or avopuoliso" which means spouse whether you are married or just living together. It has nothing to do with your wishes. It is used in official papers. Well this was my Finnish - language lesson.

Anonymous said...

Where I live, spouse refers to a married husband/wife. A man or woman living together but not married are in a de facto relationship. Same sex people who are in a relationship but not married are called partners.

Anonymous said...

I live in the U.S. and kind of giggled when Adam was referred to as Sauli's "ex-spouse", so I really appreciate the regional language lessons from all who posted. We would never call someone a "spouse" here without being married. Come to think of it, I'm trying to think of an actual term that I hear people say for the situation in conversation, and all I can come up with is referring to the other person as your girlfriend or boyfriend, and that you live together, or maybe live-in girlfriend or boyfriend. Cohabiting would be the formal word, but I've never heard it used in conversation.

When I was in my early 20's and took my first office job, the older women in the office told me about the term "POSSLQ", I think pronounced like an actual word, that means "persons of opposite sex sharing living quarters". However, it wasn't anything I had ever read about or heard said any other time. :)

1:50.....In the international court of law using English...'spouse' has to be a married person; for instance one cannot write a partner's name in a space stipulated as 'spouse' as it will not be recognised in court or any legal institution. Cohabitants are not legally married and will not be recognised as husband and wife in legal matters.
You are actually using 'spouse' as a translated term informally, which is not the same as the Finnish word pointed out by you.

Thanks for the cultural lesson. Adam has expanded our knowledge in interesting ways.

That was a bit longer than a weekend, Sauli was in UK for about 5 days, saw 3 concerts, even missed his Thursday night Namu gig, his friend Niko stood in for him. So Sauli is tough competition indeed.

Such beautiful pictures. I wish that Adam could have been in some of them. But, guess they are careful not to be in pictures together side by side. Have not seen any like that in ages! Adam has his reasons and they are probably very good ones. He seems to have learned to keep his private life as private as possible.

Just love their beautiful relationship no matter what you call it! It seems like a very wonderful thing! Real, and trusting friends are not always that easy to come by!!! Good for them! Love the relationship between Queen and Adam; so beautiful!!!

What's the "Sauli Koskinen tough competition" mean? Competition with whom? Maybe a case of lost in translation.

Anonymous said...

I took it to mean, that a lot of guys would like to be Adam's boyfriend, and Sauli is tough competition to beat, in this regards. I know they are supposed to be just good friends, but Adam hasn't been seeing anyone but Sauli for quite a while. That may change now that Adam is back home, I think Adam won't have much time for any boy friends for a while. From what I have been reading, he is going to be quite busy through 2016.

Anonymous said...

@6:21 AM
"Sauli Koskinen tought competition" is lost in translation really. "Kovassa seurassa" means "in tough company" or as Mia has translated it in Sauli Corner "Sauli Koskinen in famous company".

Anonymous said...

I (8:21 AM) meant "...tough competition", not "tought competition".

Dee R Gee said...

8:21, I think you're right. I think it means that Sauli is in the company of some pretty high level celebrities. That's the way I interpret it, anyway.

Anonymous said...

@Dee R Gee You are absolutely right. That is the best way to interpret it.

Sorry, but I also want to understand What's the "Sauli Koskinen tough competition" mean?
I live in Finland and I want to say that Saul is not a "big star of the Finnish TV" as often write about it here. This is a "cheap PR", to be honest. I do not understand why Finnish fans as trying to "blow up." I watched a lot of gear with Saul and I want to say that in Finland he has a group of fans, but very few people who know him here in Finland ... It is strange that many fans just live personal life Sauli and Adam ... Finland small ... country of 5 million inhabitants ...Sorry for my english

Anonymous said...

@10:22 AM
If you are Finnish, you can read the original headline of Iltalehti: "Sauli Koskinen kovassa seurassa". This "tough competition" is only bad and false Google- translation. And what comes to Sauli's celebrity status. There are more than just few people who know him. Many know him also because he won Dancing on Ice. Why would these papers write about him if he had just few fans? If you don't know him or follow him, there are many who do. And same in Finnish. Luepa Iltalehden juttu ja otsikko ja ota järki käteen. Tämä on huono Google- käännös eikä otsikossa puhuta mitään kilpailusta vaan "kovasta seurasta". Aika moni muuten tuntee Saulin Dancing on Ice - voitonkin ansiosta eli kyllä sillä on enemmän kuin pari fania, sori vaan. Sorry folks, this Finnish rant.

Anonymous said...

@10:22 AM
If you live in Finland and know us so well, why do you write Sauli's name wrong several times? Saul is not a Finnish name, as is not Paul. But Sauli and Pauli with i's are. There you are right, Sauli is not a big star in Finnish TV but still more than just few fans know him at least by name.

Anonymous said...

If it's not clearly enough said, I say it once more and close the case. The text "Sauli Koskinen kovassa seurassa" is in English: "Sauli Koskinen with high level celebrities" or "Sauli Koskinen in good/great/tough/famous company/group". There is NOTHING about competition in that Finnish text. As said earlier Sauli Corner has good translations of articles, interviews etc. that are Sauli and Sauli/Adam -related. And the admins are pretty fast when there is something new.

Anonymous said...

Well @10:22
You burst my bubble, I thought Sauli was a popular person on TV. He has done more than the dancing on ice. I know he is known world wide because of his relationship and friendship with Adam. But I didn't know he was not known so much in Finland. I still love him, and think he is a great person and so cute. I will continue to follow him, and always enjoy his blogs and IG pictures. Anne Marie

Well said 5:06AM thank you:)

You can read from Wikipedia the most of Saulis works, but he has been during four years time long periods in LA. In Finland he has been known from 2007 and last autumn he was in Tv housting BB Extra five times a week.

Anonymous said...

10:22 AM You're embarrassed... And you are clearly not a Finn.

Anonymous said...

Anne Marie ,
that poster(10:22) may not be worth your bursting any bubbles especially Sauli coloured ones:)))!
That poster clearly sounds a bit too negative to give valid info, Sauli has appeared on some tv-shows but we still haven't even seen all recorded ones, he has lived abroad long periods of time and his face is fresh for tv.That is why he raises more and more interest from tv producers. But as you know working chances are only few if one wanted to apply for a tv job,Sauli has wanted to be able to live in LA many months a year, so he does these appearances on tv except for the last longer job on BB. Luckily his hosting jobs for this spring didn't prevent him from attending Adam's concerts!! That poster(10:22 seems to be our negative nelly that doesn't know Finnish or English). I'm hoping Sauli would get nice jobs more on tv but they would keep him then on Finnish ground and those sunny pics of Sauli by the pool flashing his radiant smile for us would be scarce.:)

Anonymous said...

Just saying that based on the info and numerous(!) articles, interviews, tv-appearances, pics and videos you can go and check out at Sauli Corner alone, Sauli is a well-known and well-liked person in Finland.

Anonymous said...

To put things in perspective, how about the folks in US who confuse Adam Lambert with Adam Levine? Also what about the folks outside the fandom, and/or Queen fans, who know nothing about Adam Lambert? Sauli seems to get lots of exposure hosting events, modeling and in competitions performing like in DOI which he won. Trying to say we don't need to diminish anyone's accomplishments, or compare anyone to anyone else, as it's all relative to interpretation.

Anonymous said...

One difference I've noticed is that Adam is big online, but when it comes to the magazines, entertainment periodicals, Tv news Adam is rarely mentioned. While being without a computer for a few months, there was one mention of Adam. Sauli is in the media of Finland quite frequently, print/and TV. Just saying, that Sauli gets press not because of Adam, but due to his own popularity.

Anonymous said...

Adam in the news and will be much more after is album is out and single. Saw him other day on E. Adam was just on the Classic Rock cover with Queen for winning band of the year. Adam is a world wide star.
He just did a NYE special in the UK. The X factor and big Christmas Special in Germany. He traveled the world with Queen doing 67 concerts sold out. He been in magazines, papers and TV shows all over the world not just last six months but last six years. He just went to the Brit awards and saw that on TV the other day. He been very busy traveling the world. Now he home for his single and album he will be on TV and in the news more here. Then back to rio for a huge festival with Queen and most likely a South American tour. Please stop trying minimizing Adams stardom to build up others. There even a new book about him on sale Amazon don't know if he endorsed it. I also like Sauli very much let's not try to bring down Adam it's his site. I assure you even people out of this fandom know Adam. He being more and more known all over the world. Yes his work with Queen has certainly helped. But he had fans all over the world for years. But the Queen shows have helped him enormously in some places like the UK that he was less well known they loved him there. No one will mix up Sauli with Adam Levine her in the US because they do not know him here. I why are you taking out on Ad what someone who may or may not been from Finland said. Your very hateful to constantly try trashing Saulis friend on his own site. I tried not to say anything but I am very tired of it if. If Sauli name is mentioned you take that as a free ticket to trash Adam. Adam career doing very well and he on his way up the later he worked very hard and it's paying off. Sauli a nice guy and would not like what you keep doing on this sites Sauli a star in Finland Adam is a world star and certainly known out of this fandom. Can't wait for his new album. Try to be more respectful on this site for Adam L. Have fun guessing who this is I know you non signers will who are unkind to Adam on his site.

Wahh, this thread turned out quite hot! lol! All the hot Moms fighting for two talented hot guys.

What I like about Adam and Sauli
Is they know who they are
And what they want in life
Which can be a tough high price
As it requires sacrifice from both guys
This new/old love relationship
Might eventually achieve its equilibrium partnership
Right now, it's wait and see
Slow Ride...Take it easy...We will rock all night
Well, we the hot Moms will be the first to know
When the love bubble blows with a fierce lava flow
Hot on their heels...we will follow wherever it goes

@4:25PM is probably Sue.

This is 4.25 I knew the ones that never sign would start throwing pot shots and guess. That's all it is just a guess. 9.31 I usually sign when are you going to grow some and sign. Instead of being a bully.

Anonymous said...

News flash everybody looking and Adams hot pictures of his chest and arms. Wow he looks great. Sue

Anonymous said...

4:25/9:44, you asked people to guess and that's all 9:31 did. No potshots, no unkindness to Adam. Please calm down, it's not that deep.

Lam-My said...

Yea I like Adam's swirly chest hair, wahh I didn't know his chest topped up those voluptuous pounds. Mmm little black singlet is my favourite. lwl!

Anonymous said...

10.43 I am afraid you are very wrong about this one. I said guess I did not have to. This person always does this if I don't sign. I usually do. This person never does. It is bullying if you do it all the time to the same person. I said guess because I have been bullied so much and that's why somrtimes I don't sign. I did not need to say guess she or he would have sId exactly what they said. I don't call this person name out what am I saying the person never signs.

Well I have to confess Sauli's relationship with Adam woke me up big time for gay and lesbian issues, that I didn't even know, what they were before.
My focus was always admiring their love, which was so beautiful to follow and I never thought in my life I would follow a gay couple this way, why? Maybe I found myself in a mature age and thinking love is more a human right issue than what I had realised before. Adam's music and lyrics were deep and meaningful and opened up a new world for me. Still my family and friends don't follow Adam or Sauli and they don't care of gay issues so much like I do, they don't celebrate like I do every forward motion that I find achieved in the world re Gay community.

I don't think anybody is for real comparing Sauli and Adam as competitors here or putting Adam down big time , so that should not be a worry for anyone. If Sue is posting as anon, I compliment her for being able and well enough to still follow and fangirl Adam, good for you Sue, I know what he means to you.

I'm glad Adam and Sauli still make us talk about them, they are both so hot and lovable, I love them. How they manage their lives or go separately on is theirs to handle alone. But I do think it's not so serious to talk about their mutual adventures and pics of the same places they have been in together, Only grrrr, no pics together, I bet they would look HOT, maybe they know we couldn't handle THAT!!! :D

I am not sue and I agree that 2.49 and 3.12 were very negative towards Adam in attempt to elevate Saul. Sorry but Adam is a far bigger star world wide. Comparing some popularity in Finland to Adam who been world wide with sold out concerts with Queen and on TV specials and on and on. He certainly is known outside the fandom.
This new single, album and new label will pivot him even higher. Unfortunately there are people on here that cannot be civil.

@11:58pm & @Sue

11:58pm: What a nice thoughtful post; very interesting and intelligently written. Loved your comments about Sue!

@Sue: The reason someone might recognize your posts, is because you are one of Adam's most passionate fans and you write so beautifully and uniquely. Like many famous writers, for example; we know their writings even when are looking at their name. So take it as a compliment, no matter what other's intentions are.

I will say the following in loving care for you: Please do not let what strangers post about you that you may feel is negative, effect you in any way; it is not worth effecting your health over.

Just support Adam and ignore anything else that may bother you. People say negative things about many people on social media; but who cares; we do not know this people. The best way to stop them in their tracks is to just ignore them.

So sign when you want to and do not sign when you don't want to; and let people guess away if they have nothing else to do. Do not give them the satisfaction of responding.

This is the first time I have responded to your posts; but have always enjoyed them, but I sometimes feel that you are pained by some poster's comments. If it ever happens that someone thinks that a post I write is written by you; I would be a happy camper; and would be so flattered, and I would certainly thank them, because you have such a beautiful gift of expressing such loving and caring support for Adam in such beautiful words!

Please stay calm and guard your beautiful gift of expression and guard your health! Stay strong and wonderful. From a fellow Glambert!!

Sorry about the long post; but just needed to express my feelings!

Anonymous said...

3:48am
Please don't diminish anybody not Sauli either here. Are you any better? Adam doesn't need that kind of support. Just celebrate Adam the Superstar and maybe appreciate his friends as Adam wants to have them close, it's totally his business. Your free opinion is noted all the same as everybody else's. Please be civil too as you requested,thankey.

Nice pics of Adam on IG too!!!:)))

Anonymous said...

I do not think 8:48 is diminishing Sauli. Anon is just stating the true. Finland has population only 5 million compared to USA, Britain, Germany, Poland. This is really small audience.
Adam operate for much larger audience. Of course the comparison will be much fair of if Adam stayed in Indiana whole his life and only Indiana people knows him.
Everybody has a purpose, some belong to the world and some will contribute to the local community. No one is better than other.

Anonymous said...

10:52am.
Thankey for your point of view. Sauli just isn't only some visitor in shows, he is much more, read his wikipedia.

Poster@10:22 was saying things about Sauli that were not true. About Sauli in Finland. That poster obviously didn't know much.

I think posters @2:49 and @3:12 were not trying to elevate Sauli in re to Adam or comparing their fame, who is better than the other. Imo their point was that Sauli has earned his own popularity, whatever small it is in some fans minds here. There is no reason for disrespect for THESE guys Adam and Sauli!

Adam is an artist from way before than what time has passed from Idol, but there is still a lot his new label can do for him to make a difference to Adam's own popularity, like even more radio time, more shows and so on. This QAL Tour surely helps now. But his own music is also a totally new adventure, GOOD luck for that and eagerly waiting for that NEW single first!

Finnish people do know about their country size as a market. Sauli is not competing for world wide fame and is not a singer, so that was simply stated here already before: "no need to diminish anyone or compare anyone". Why compare them... though I know WHY some obviously try..... I love them both.

Anonymous said...

Why didn't @Admin Fan correct the headline although so many posters here have offered the proper translations of the Finnish headline? Could have avoided a lot of the nastiness and misunderstandings on this thread.

Anonymous said...

Thankey for noticing, (A sigh and a relief).
I was wondering, why this comparison between our sweet guys. Well I didn't even read the topic carefully, since I'm Finnish and have read the original. And now, I must hurry to sleep, zzzzz!:D Thanks again.
