Have said for years Adam broke American Idol...so glad I have read this in a of couple articles!!

yes indeed all yes all of Adam' performances were number one...he did break American Idol..

I have always felt the exact same way!!! So cool to read so many others agree! Idol never recovered. No one could top Adam. No one brought the excitement he did. It's 6 years later and his performances are still exciting to watch. I can't say that about any other Idol. He's the only one I ever bothered to vote for. He is IT!!!

I had one more thing to add... This is also the first time Ive ever followed a celebrity. I've never been on a site like this or commented like this. Lol Adam just does something to us. And I love it!!!

EJ, Exactly the same for me. I have liked a lot of singer well enough, but none have sent me over the moon like Adam has. None have made me such a committed fan who follows someone so closely and with such joy. I love being able to share my crazy passion for Adam so many others who areas nuts as I am. Adam took Idol and turned it upside down and inside out. No one else has come close to his impact, IMO.

Yea, I noticed and said Adam smashed AI right on S8. I've also said AI catapulted Adam onto the worldwide arena but! in the same breath I still maintain AI owes Adam his S8 crowning; you know that torrential cascading the winners all got except Adam. I think Adam at that time was too caught up with feeling okay for Kris to win; I don't know if he feels just a wee bit that in reality he should have; but Adam is so magnanimous, I think he still thinks it's okay for Kris to win. But for a lot of us who watched his tireless upping his own game week after week, it's still pretty hard to stomach. The moral of the story is never be unfair to anyone, it doesn't go away easily.

Heard "Ghost Town" on my local radio station today for the first time, it sounded incredible!

I tried watching Idol after Season 8. And I tried to find a favorite contestant. I liked Siobahn because some of her notes were similar to Adam. I kinda liked James Durbin... But only because I wanted to find someone like Adam. In the end I still felt bored and disappointed. I knew I would never have that same feeling for another Idol.

Yes, so agree with all you guys. I fast forward through each season in the hope some one will grab me as Adam did. But no, no one could.

This is the first time for me also following a celeb on a site like this. Adam's performances on Idol were just so amazing that I waited anxiously each week to see what he would sing and what his look would be for that night. He is also the only contestant I have ever voted for on Idol. Adam set the bar so high with his mesmerizing performances that no one will ever come close to him. I actually heard GT on the radio for the first time today and I was thrilled. Hope they continue to play it in the NYC/NJ area.

Well, I lost my mind - never thought I'd be like this - curse you Adam Lambert - but I'm feelin' good!

To me, Mad World was the most incredible performance on idol EVER. I must have watched that 100 times at least! I have been on this site since right after Adam was on idol. I agree with all the posters that I've never followed ANYONE like this. Well, ok, maybe when I was like 13.

My radio station has Adam in the top 20 most popular for the week! Love the support he is getting from them and a couple of other stations in the area.

Hi @daydreamin! I think your radio station is also mine haha. Star 101.3? In general, Adam got a lot of spins here in the SF Bay Area today, didn't he? I'm so happy, have never seen it like this.

As many others have expressed already, I too have never been on fan sites either. Adam came into my life 6 years ago and that changed :) I am utterly fascinated by this man.
