A singled-out mention by WBR is indeed outstanding but Adam has always been outstanding, since Mama/AI; though at that point, it wasn't so prominent for the untrained eye/ear but Paula, Randy, Kara and even Simon sensed something brewing; something for them to latch on to, to skew lol! Well, I got onto the skewing at his Satisfaction rendition. I said in no uncertain terms...that's the winner!
And when it surfaced that Adam was gay, I sort of thought otherwise as I wasn't that open then, negative connotations. Now I'm fully open and aware of what gay is. lwl! Can be an uphill climb but only in certain environments / countries. When Adam sings, gay or not doesn't even exist, for me.

Adam's portrait on the Out Magazine cover is so intense; the two words on the cover OUT IDOL are rather arresting. But Adam has never really been in, from the time we got to know him. I think the gay person has the absolute right to be in or out...they shouldn't be stigmatised nor thought of as dishonest or be pressured to make a public declaration. In short, let them live the life they so choose.
