Initial reviews of the album we could find thus far please click titles to get to reviews.  (Sources co-compiled with glitzylady.)

Note: review is by their longtime Senior Editor, Stephen Thomas Erlewine
"...a sterling modern pop record."

"Vocally it’s undoubtedly Adam’s best work yet!"

"....such a muscular performing artist ... a talent like this has been in front of us all along, but the sense that we’re truly discovering him for the very first time."

"... the Title track, There I Said It, and Rumors are worth the price alone that you’ll spend on this. All three should be smash hits for Adam and deservedly so."  ...   "This should go a long way to making Adam an even bigger star than he already is."

"...from a songwriting and production standpoint, it’s a very impressive (and very cohesive) body of work. Oh, and Lambert’s vocals are out-of-this-world amazing throughout..."

''...standout track 'Lucy.'"

This is an update to an earlier piece that reviewed the four pre-released songs
and now includes some background information on the album.

"...beyond-belief amazing and will undoubtedly be the best track on the album..."

So great to see such stellar reviews, esp. from some of the "higher level" reviewers. RS gave TOH a three out of four stars, too, which is very good! I always love the respect Adam gets for his amazing voice and talent. He is constantly re-inventing himself in the most creative ways. Hope TOH does really well in sales and on the radio. We've all done our share of buying, streaming, requesting and viewing our hearts out!

All good! Hope others have pre-ordered like myself. We need to give Adam some big numbers next week by putting our money where our mouths are.

I just purchased the single The Original High from ITunes. I really love that track. I like "Ghost Town",but prefer the video on that one. The reviews are usually good for Adam's work. Trespassing was mostly favorably reviewed. I SILL love that cd.
I love the upbeat tracks on "The Original High"

I've also done my share of preordering TOH but I want to wait for the release date to order more for gifting. Does anyone know if I order Two or more at one time (say from Amazon) will it count as only one sale? What's the best way to order to be most helpful for Adam?

I think the album is incredible and I love it so much.

Thanks for your help!

There are three different version of TOH on iTunes and Amazon. You can buy hard copy CD of the album from Amazon. I saw a link on Amazon for vinyl version of the album. AdamOfficial.com sells bundles and all the versions of the album. Some other outlets sell digital and CD version the album. It would be cool if Admins could have links to all outlets in one thread close to the release date.

the single "The Original High" reminds me of the first time I rode on a motorcycle. Hair blowing in the wind and not a care in the world. This song has such a retro vibe. I LOVE it/on repeat.

@Glitzylady, I follow this makeup artist on YouTube. Check out description section of her video to get an idea how to outline links:

9:26, you're right. My mistake. I still think their comments were positive.

9:26 and DRG, Rolling Stone only gave one 4 star review last year. So those 4s and 5s are pretty rare.
