This is a great interview done by on-air personality Toby Knapp of Washington DC radio station Hot 99.5 on June 24th in front of a live audience. Toby asked some great questions, including an excellent one about the progression of Adam's musical style from Idol to today, as well as taking questions from the audience.

Someone has to inform Adam about the historic Supreme Court ruling.

It is an important ruling for all citizens.
Adam needs a vacation, he works so hard.
Why are all his fans old? Not at all meant in an offensive way just wondering. Is it because of Idol?

Adam's international fan base is far more age-diverse. Seems that his original loyal Idol fans may be an older demo, but he does have younger American fans, too. I've heard that other Idol alums tend to have an older fan demo, too.
Forgot to mention, I really liked this interview. The host was especially good and is obviously a fan from way back. He really poured on the praise and gave a good perspective on Adam's background. Liked the first fan's question about "warming up" to perform.
After Idol his fans were older because they remember the days when superb singers were POPular.
The last 10 years or more flash and trash has been more appreciated and POP was either crotch dragging rap stars
or lip sync babes showing both chest and booty cleavage.
He has picked up some young fans along the way and this new album, if given a chance, may bring more.
Anon 6.37pm I think there is a lot of truth in your comment. I mean imagine the carry on if Adams fans were a group of young 15 year old guys or even girls.
I do think he has a great many young fans in their 20s though maybe they are not as obsessed as Us (Me) LOL
By the way haven't we had some great interviews this time round,focusing more on important facts. I am loving them.
Adam has many older fans - they can be seen at concerts and especially at meet & greets. Let's hope a lot more younger fans get on board as a result of Adam's 3rd album.
Age itself does not matter. Adam has said it from the beginning. We can all join in the fun and party no matter the age, gender, race etc.
Where the age matters is when you're trying to push your own more mature, often from a different era and perhaps jaded ideas, opinions and attitudes on Adam, his management and also on other fans "not from your era". Not talking about good civil behavior, that is what we all should learn and "play by the rules".
With more life experience the more mature fans should be more able to see the pic picture...understand what Adam is about and also what he is up against in the tough world od entertainment business. With Adam we all have a chance to learn new stuff, support and honour his choices and enjoy the talents of this exceptionally beautiful and charismatic human being (still not sire about the human part... so much otherworldly in The Glam One!), singer/performer/actor extraordinaire. Not the job of fans - of any age - to butt in to his life and business, by trying to narrow him down, by disapproving his choices or acting like mother hens. jmo
Can I say that bec. older people knew after they heard this GFG from IDOL has the superior voice among them all and realized that they can hear real singing again!:) Majority of Adam's fans, young and old don't want to waste their money for a garbage music. That's why these people including me, staysssssssssssssssssssssssss with him baby!!!:)
