'Ghost Town' sensation Adam Lambert has revealed that he would definitely think about doing something on Broadway in the future if he got the right offer because he has always loved theatre.

Speaking to Radio.com recently, the vocal powerhouse explained that he would accept a spot on Broadway for a musical or production that was new because he would want to be the person to define the role:

Why not, why not, some time , when the time is ripe, when an interesting offer, like those mentioned by Ultimate Classic Rock ,is made, when he decides it is time for him to explore new/old territories, when he is ready to face other challenges, when pop music has been explored to its last limits, when ,as Lam-My said , Broadway may become a stepping stone towards Hollywood . Yes, now, he'll have to give an American/European Tour to promote The Original High, "to conquer" the South American paradise with Queen, but we all now how unpredictable future can be!

Lam-My, you're right , it would imply risks, financial mainly, whether it would be produced by Adam himself or he would be sponsored. It would be hazardous but not more hazardous than Adam's decision to enter the overcrowded pop "battlefield", or to accept his amazing voice to be overproduced in some of the songs, even in my favorite, Lucy, being so aware that (some) fans, me included, love his voice to be produced as natural as possible.
Again, I'll have to wait for his live performances !

Pan, I agree that the pop music scene is truly a battlefield. Adam is doing his best to hold his own in that arena. I would love to see him do a high-profile theater production of some kind, original or well-known. He has a unique persona, a fun mixture of seriousness and comedy. I'd even like to see him do something non-musical at some point. Jumping into acting can be like being thrown to the wolves. But Adam is a risk-taker. I think he'll take opportunities that feel right to him.
