Typical.....that's what my first drafts of poems and stories look like. Incredibly messy.
Went to the British Library in London once. Saw original manuscripts of the Magna Carta and the Canterbury Tales displayed under thick glass and dim lights. So impressed! But there was a crowd gathered around another exhibit across the room, a vertical exhibit against a wall, also lit up. It was original Lennon-McCartney scrawls of early lyrics, scribbled on paper napkins and paper plates and lined tablet paper, etc., full of cross-outs and erasures and margin notes. Loved it! It's the creative process at work. Love how music evolves just like Ghost Town.
