So, what do you think about this new sensation, Sean Miley Moore, who slayed “Show Must Go On”? Competition for Adam?
Wasn’t expecting anyone other than Adam do the song justice…
Still think Adam has the better voice but he needs to get back his Original High to beat that guy in passion and sass…

I think Seann's interpretation of "The Show Must Go On" was wonderful..

The thing is though, it's a bit different for Adam, when he is singing with the legendary band Queen, for the fans in the audience. Seems that he can only stray so far from the original "feel" of the song, the music, the sound, without upsetting the fans, and perhaps changing the feel of the classic Queen music.

At least those are my thoughts about how Adam is singing the songs.. .. He does such a fantastic job!

Yes I agree Glitzy, he was wonderful and original. But had no ties to bind him. Adam could easily do an interpretation like that but singing with Queen is bound by certain restraints as you mentioned.
Good luck to this young man though it will be interesting to see what else he has to offer.

I agree with you all. Sean did a really great job, but he has the freedom to sing it any way he wants to. Adam must stay closer to the original. I'm not taking anything away from Sean. But the two singers have different parameters. Sean has great potential!

Yes ... Sean did a fine job as far as being talented goes ... I won't dispute that fact ... however, I did not like his version ... the way he presented the song did nothing for me ... not like when ADAM sings it ... the hairs on the back of my neck stand up & I get chills ... misty-eyed. NO one else can do that for me ... only QAL ... The Show Must Go On!! I LOVE it when only QUEEN & ADAM perform it!! JMHO

Sean's performance was incredible to showcase his voice, but I felt his rendition of that particular Queen song strayed way too far past the original tune. Adam's version will be the only one I will accept aside from Freddie Mercury's original recording. Adam could easily do what Sean did, but he would never allow himself to do that because he represents an icon, and must stay very close to the originals of Queen's music. But, WOW! ... Sean should definitely get his butt to a modeling agency with that ethereal style he emanates. I enjoyed his persona much more than I did his music. I think he will become a big star for the stage; perhaps, one more big move for him to make---to the United States for BROADWAY! Loved him. Margarita Lady

Simon Cowell must be desperate , The X Factor's ratings reached the lowest values ever. Don't you remember , he is the one who more than once declared that he was sick and tired of competitors using melismata? Nothing new about this guy's way of using melismatic singing, oh, since Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston... .Want to hear perfection, listen ta Adam's performance of The Show... at EMA Belfast!HE'S THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN SING IT FLAWLESSLY , not many vocalists dared to sing it live as to highlight the melody, the lyrics,the message and last but not least, the vocals, without having to resort to this ordinary artifice.

@PAN-you are so 100% correct. There are two songs that I go back to whenever I want to refresh my memory of Adam's magnificent vocals; these two songs being, "THE SHOW MUST GO ON", sung at the EMA BELFAST, and "UNDER PRESSURE", sung at KIEV, UKRAINE, at the outdoors AIDS festival. No one, and I reiterate, no one, can sing, "THE SHOW MUST GO ON" like Adam Lambert. If Sean had to sing the song like Adam, I think it would be far too big a challenge for him. But, Sean has other awesome qualities that will take him to the top ... beautiful body and mesmerizing style. Margarita Lady

In my opinion no one can compare to Adam ( except Freddie of course ) Sean had an interesting version and a great voice but Adam is completely thrilling to listen to....and visually simply mesmerizing. Adam owns this song IMO.

Congrats to Sean for a wonderful effort however.
