Yesterday we heard reports from "TMZ", "Just Jared", and (many) other media sites that Adam Lambert had been replaced as the opening artist on Demi Lovato's upcoming tour, with Nick Jonas as her new opener..

That was the first we'd heard of Adam being in talks with Demi about being on her Tour..

When we posted the thread (linked above) here on Adam Lambert 24/7 regarding that story (rumors...), we were surprised, confused, and wondered at the time what it was all REALLY about.. What is the truth, what is rumor?? What, and who, do we believe??

Fans responded to this news with concern and a Twitter Trend, filled with love for Adam:

#WeLoveAdamLambert

Adam responded last night in a tweet (below)

Earlier today, Demi Lovato responded to Adam's tweet, further suggesting that TMZ didn't really have the facts straight..

Adam Lambert Addresses Demi Lovato Tour Switch Up On Twitter

“Ghost Town” singer Adam Lambert has taken to Twitter to clear up all those rumors about being replaced on Demi Lovato‘s tour. According to reports, Adam was replaced by Demi‘s label mate and BFF Nick Jonas for her upcoming tour — but he’s okay with it.

From "Idolator" today:

Adam Lambert Responds To Rumors of Demi Lovato Firing Him From World Tour

Excerpts:
Adam Lambert sets the record straight on a new rumor involving him, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas.

Yesterday (October 23), TMZ reported that Demi was to announce a world tour this past week but didn’t. The reason why, according to the tabloid site, was that she changed opening acts at the last minute. Unnamed sources said that Adam was to perform, but then Demi’s manager decided to book Nick instead.

Today (October 24), however, Adam acknowledged the switch-up but assured that there is no ill will between him, Demi and Nick. “Aww I love you all very much,” he said on Twitter. “No beef tween @ddlovato & @nickjonas and me. Biz negotiations are complex- why do we care about the #rumors?”

No word so far from TMZ.....

All this drama, Whew! Can we move on? Adam is much too good to be anyone's opening act! I was really upset when the news broke but knowing now that DL & NJ are on the same label and mgmt. It makes it more clear that their mgr wanted them together (DL & NJ) and NJ had no tour of his own. We know Adam has will start his TOH tour abroad so I'm hoping all this drama and switch won't affect further tour dates here in North America.

Adam's response to the rumors, just shows what a class act he is.

Makes sense with DL and NJ having the same management. And he has no of his own in the works, apparently. Doesn't say when her tour would begin, but apparently is did fit into Adam's schedule. Hope this rumor is all over and done with. Actually, neither Adam nor Demi really answered anything specific.

In the meantime, view, Spotify, Shazam, whatever. ALN needs to hit one million and beyond!

TMZ, as usual caught a nugget of possible news, and went for it, making a huge thing about it, without knowing any facts. Adam can just laugh in their face, because he knows the real facts. He is a huge star, and if he ever opens or shares the stage it will be with another super star, like Pink or Lady Gaga, an established super star.

I would never pay to see Adam opening for Demi! That's just too bizarre!

There might be a grain of truth to this, that Adam is open to co-staring in a tour.
I doubt he was seriously considering being an opener for Demi, but co-staring is becoming popular now, and if the right deal came up with the right person, we might see that happening.

The economics of a tour are brutal. More and more singers are teaming up to help share the cost of a tour. I don't have a problem with Adam teaming up with someone else on a tour. But it's got to be a mutually beneficial deal, not only financially, but it many ways.

Personally I'm glad he isn't opening for Demi. But agree there could be a 'right person' to co-star with. Don't know if I'd pay to see Adam with Demi, I would want to see Adam, but buying a ticket would look like a vote for Demi.

I think it's likely to be true. It's a cruel thing for Demi and her people to do for the obvious reason, but what offers did Adam turn down to tour with her that he will not be able to go back and pick up? I'm sure it's not just the one lost opportunity but several lost opportunities. grrrrr
