I enjoyed this with the exception of the use of the C word. Can't quite get my mind around being okay with a word I find so offensive. I did a little research and found this article, which I found interesting.

I would enjoy knowing other people's thoughts.

Ágree. The most offensive word and usually directed at women. Maybe Adam doesn't realize that. Today people use ythe F word has become part of normal day to day speech so I guess C word is the new F word. Very offensive

Just verified it is considered the most offensive word and usually directed at women (means women's genitals)

I've never seen it as all that offensive and I've only seen it directed at men. Basically the equivalent of calling someone an ass.

It's just a word. I suggest people get over it and refrain from getting over sensitive. The intent matters more than the actual word itself, anyway. People can and have said far worse things without the use of a swear at all.
But most of all, there are MUCH bigger problems and MANY more important things to be "offended by" (poverty, rape, the underground slave trade, hunger, murder, etc.). Use your energy on fixing those, not being offended by a silly word.

Let's be reasonable & keep it in perspective.

My thoughts.

I disagree, it is not "just a word", and I don't give a damn WHAT the intent is -- the word is a most derogatory and demeaning word used to describe a woman as only a "vagina" ... very sexist, very offensive... and is used as the lowest of insults.
If we are to be sensitive about using the n-word, we are certainly entitled to be sensitive about the c-word. You are not allowed to brush it off as unimportant!
I don't care if it is commonly used among the gays in a different manner, or with different intent. The English vocabulary is extensive, and they can find other words to include in their own vernacular that are not insulting to women.
One can't help feeling that since gays are not interested in women, they look down on them by using so much language that is insulting to women when they are speaking to each other. WHY else would that be?
I would venture to say that straight women have been more supportive of gay rights and gay marriage than straight men. I know I have been. But I would now like to request that gay men brush that chip off their shoulder and become more sensitive to women.
We are an educated and civilized nation, but it's sometimes hard to believe that by people's vocabularies, and manners, these days.
I love Adam, and I hope he did not intend to hurt anyone's feelings.... BUT HE DID!!!!

Follow-up on previous remarks.... woke up this A.M. to find articles about petition being signed to ban Adam from Singapore concert. Can't help but feel that it was partially triggered by the BuzzFeed article we're discussing here, because of the timing.
Those two answers to favorite word ("C--t") and favorite curse word ("F-----g C--t") should have been deleted from the article by the writer or Adam, or at least not prominently DISPLAYED ACROSS HIS CHEST!!!! in large letters. You can see that there were no other answers so displayed.
Do you think that the writer was going for "sensational, eye-catching, controversial... and HEADLINES and ONLINE HITS, etc. You bet!!!!
The photos appear to show Adam at his most charming , and one would love to see the actual video of that interview, with those answers only a SMALL part of a long delightful interview.
Adam was badly used by Kimberly Dodds and BuzzFeed-- self-serving tacky journalism!... is this a tabloid?
And there's always someone lying in wait for moments like this to attack Adam. The "stripper" part of "Another Lonely Night" was pointed out in the Singapore petition as indecent, and then all the way back to that AMA performance.
Sometimes I may seem like a prude, but I do worry so about Adam. He seems especially attacked by many HATEFUL bigoted people... it's taken a long time to reach the heights he has and... I WANT TO KEEP HIM SAFE!!!!!

This expression fits Adam..."The strongest Sun throws the darkest shadow"!
