Here's the full song. It's on Adam's Official YouTube Playlist:-

It's a new sound for sure - but repetitive.
Interesting - I will have to listen a few more times ...
Not sure why the collaboration.

Just to let you know, we aren't posting the You Tube here officially on 24/7 on a separate thread because the video is currently "unlisted". I would assume Adam will unlist it i.e. make it available to everyone in a couple of days.. Currently they are hoping people will buy on iTunes or listen on Apple Music, Spotify, etc..

I recommend listening to the song with headphones or earbuds.. or on a really good stereo system turned up! The lyrics, voices, and music production are best listened to full volume to catch the nuances of the voices and the music.. I've listened several times through, first just on my laptop with the standard built in speakers, no headphones... Since then, I've used headphones and LOVE the song...

The collaboration is beautiful, and Laleh's voice is pretty and compliments Adam's.. People have said she sounds a bit like Rihanna and I agree.. So many artists are collaborating/dueting/featuring 2 artists on a song now.. I really like this one.. It's mainly Adam, but Laleh adds an extra layer to the song...

My thoughts anyway... :)))

Thanks for the update, glitzylady.

This song is driving my head mad .... hahha .... in a good way!!! :-D

Laleh's voice is great when she sings a little part on her own & she's going to sing the song with Adam on AI .... it's all good!!

@glizylady That's exactly what I did!!! It was night time over here when the song came out so I couldn't turn it up and that's when I got out my headphones *loool*

I think it's definitely one of Adams more "generic" pop songs in the sense more radiofriendly, appealing to a broad audience at least that's where I feel they were trying to go but it's still far more original than radio pop^^ (I hope people get what I mean) To me the guy just keeps making awesome music and he woun't settle for less. That voice! Those emotions!! <3...I always thought I was fairly connected to my emotions but he just grab them and whipped me over the head with them!

The first time I heard it, tears flowing non stop! The impact of the lyrics makes you think a million times before judging someone in front of you! Truth hurts so much eh! Love you Adam!:)

Song lyrics are so poignant, wonder if it will resonate with the public who does not know him, but will be interesting to see. I too thought that Laleh was superfluous and her part was not strong enough to be considered "featured". She has a nice voice, but it gets lost with Adam's soaring vocals and his sublime ability to emote - she was more a back-up singer to me. The song is so "Adam personal", not sure that it works conceptually as a duet, would have preferred it more as a solo.

I don't like it....yet, but Adam's voice is a selling point anytime. I'm sure it will 'grow' on me.
More than the song itself, I am so happy to see him performing in the US. Vive Adam!

It's so autobiographical. Really tells the story of Adam's life and professional journey. Very honest. Unapologetic. The repetition is there for a reason. Ear worm strategy. Hope it catches fire!

Yes, the song is so strongly personal, difficult to determine the purpose of Laleh's presence here. She doesn't offer any counterpoint, just echoes the chorus - and Adam certainly does not need vocal assist in that area. The marketing is just puzzling to me with a new single that needs to succeed at this juncture of his career. Perhaps if he had collaborated with a big name like GaGa, I could at least see the commercial aspect.

can't wait for tonight's show on AI.

For this song, I read that Max Martin referred Adam to 2 Swedish songwriters, one of whom worked on "Ghost Town" (I think that's right). Maybe they wanted a Swedish singer to join Adam in this venture.

I think the collaboration works really well. Their voices complement each other in this song. If one listens carefully, Laleh can be heard clearly at 1.56, 2.09 & 2.49. Songs with a feature artist seem to be popular these days, depending on the song & the artists, of course.

I would love this song to blow up the charts for Adam!
