Christina Aguilera Pays Tribute to Orlando Tragedies With Poignant Single 'Change': Listen
Excerpts:
"In the wake of recent tragedies, pop vocalist Christina Aguilera has expedited the release of her poignant single, "Change," to spread a powerful message of hope. "
"Waiting for a change to set us free / Waiting for the day when you can be you and I can be me," she sings over restrained synthetic beats. "Waiting for hope to come around / Waiting for the day when hate is lost and love is found."
"During a call with On Air with Ryan Seacrest Friday morning, Aguilera said the track -- a cowrite with Fancy Hagood (Who Is Fancy) and Flo Reutter -- is dedicated to her "fighters" and serves as a tribute to the tragic Orlando nightclub shooting that left 49 people dead and 53 wounded. She also released the power ballad in honor of former The Voice contestant and YouTube star Christina Grimmie, who was slain at a fan meet-and-greet held at The Plaza Live in Orlando."
"Aguilera's reps released a statement (via Billboard) confirming that 100 percent of proceeds from U.S. download sales will be donated to the National Compassion Fund (until September 14) to directly benefit the Orlando shooting victims and their families."

I think it's a great song and will and should take off.
(can easily imagine Adam covering it)
Nice...and timely.
lollymop ... my thoughts exactly ... ADAM would put so much love & power into every word of this song that it will bring tears to your eyes & a lump in your throat!! ADAM should do a cover of it ... IMO ... but I doubt if he will!!
