OT - sorry to be so OT, but just heard that Adele turned down the SuperBowl gig saying "come on, it's not about the music, and I don't dance". Good for her!

So I guess the NFL does not confine itself in choosing only American artists for this American event, as they did choose Coldplay last year against much public dissent.

I'm gonna order the RHPS soundtrack, too. So happy that Adam has done TWO songs!

As to the Super Bowl, apparently they want to choose acts that are super popular regardless of whether they're American or not. Adele is at the top of the heap. She's great but I agree with her. She's doesn't really do a Super Bowl kind of show. Adam could do it with immense energy AND dancing. But I don't think he's high-profile enough.

@Dee R Gee
But Queen is definitely high profile :))) So Queen + Adam Lambert works..

I just saw this snap of Adam. "Gepäckausgabe" is German but I highly doubt he'll be staying here, but Frankfurt is a big Airport (hub). Maybe he is heading towards Greece.
...but he could be staying in Germany^^...I'm getting all kinds of high!

glitzy, you're right, of course. Somehow I was thinking of Adam solo at the SB, but of course, it would be QAL if it ever happened. I think QAL at the SB would bring that arena to its knees. To hear WATC and WWRY sung by the original band (with one notable and wonderful exception) would show the world what a REAL ROCK BAND LOOKS AND SOUNDS LIKE! We can dream can't we?

I'm just trying to imagine how QAL would set up its stage "in the round" -- since they have to be seen from all sides at the Super Bowl.

One of the best parts about QAL is the giant "Q" screen... and the two huge side screens... which provide great close-ups of the performers (especially amazingly photogenic Adam !). Those screens make the concert much more intimate and personal--- and provide more impact to the audience.

One shouldn't underestimate the effect of those screens on the "QAL experience".. just think about it.
