Sawatdi ka! Bangkok! QAL Asian Tour, a huge success, well, Three Maestros can't give anything below par. The sound systems and the massive audiences were actually the key factors and definitely Adam did it again! Also, the Conglomerates such as Singapore Airlines who were the sole organisers of Grand Prix + QAL...they were the real people pulling the strings behind the scene. That fantastic picture of 90,000 at the Padang was taken from the air by a surveillance airship which I saw pass by my tv screen for the Grand Prix and would have surveyed the huge crowd with minute scrutiny. I looked closer and Adam seemed to be facing it with his arms outstretched while Brian was facing the audience and the big light was directed at him from an aerial source.
QAL Asian Tour, an event to behold Now tugged away, perhaps till next year It was exhausting for the Three Maestros Partly due to the heat Also, waiting for the Grand Prix to end And so it started past 10 pm Brian said afterwards it was a long walk Their last notes...the end of their thrust As they pushed on, down the Q catwalk Adam gave his final burst in We Are The Champions A note we'll remember...interspersed with smoke and confetti Spike Edney said it loud and clear with intimacy Saluting the 90,000 below the City Hall Dome A full-circle historic moment...as God Save The Queen played Adam seemed rather 'high' on stage In an all-out performance, rings the dawn of a new age!

QAL Asian Tour, an event to behold
Now tugged away, perhaps till next year
It was exhausting for the Three Maestros
Partly due to the heat
Also, waiting for the Grand Prix to end
And so it started past 10 pm
Brian said afterwards it was a long walk
Their last notes...the end of their thrust
As they pushed on, down the Q catwalk
Adam gave his final burst in We Are The Champions
A note we'll remember...interspersed with smoke and confetti
Spike Edney said it loud and clear with intimacy
Saluting the 90,000 below the City Hall Dome
A full-circle historic moment...as God Save The Queen played
Adam seemed rather 'high' on stage
In an all-out performance, rings the dawn of a new age!
