Excerpts (read the full article for more info!):
Queen + Adam Lambert will rock Tribeca next year.

The legendary English rock band will debut a part of their VR concert film, aptly titled VR The Champions, during the closing weekend of the New York City film festival, Tribeca organizers announced Friday morning.

The 3D, VR film was shot in front of an audience of 15,000 fans live in Barcelona last May. The production used a four-point wire to enable the camera to capture the band’s performance in a truly immersive way. Three songs will be teased at the Tribeca Virtual Arcade at World Trade Center: “Radio Gaga,” “We Will Rock You,” and “We Are the Champions.”

Good news has become more precious than ever.

This is fantastic news! Great exposure for QAL and especially Adam. QAL did very well on tour in the US but this film at this high profile film festival might just expand the awareness of Adam's role in the rebirth of Queen. All to the good. Heck, maybe even an award. I'm a real optimist!

BTW, I do realize that film festival showings are not like general release film showings. But this festival usually attracts some attention. I believe it's the one that Robert Di Niro started, if I remember correctly. With luck, VR The Champions just may get some positive feedback from the reviewers there. Hope so.

Sorry, I keep rambling. The virtual reality part of this showing sounds very cool to me. It will feel like being at the concert live and up close. Probably have to wear some sort of headset thingie. Assuming there will be general public in the audience (and hopefully some film critics), maybe we'll get a good write-up from someone.

Ok, I'll shut up now. :)

Hey DRG, no reason to be sorry and also no reason to shut up unless your good a ready to. The moderators will tell you when enough is enough.

Right on!... Go Dee R Gee! That's just a drop in the bucket... compared to some around here... not excluding myself.

I'm so curious about this... is it something that will be available for purchase by the public? Can it only be seen by all that Virtual Reality visor, etc? I imagine that would be pretty expensive.

I think it's great that Adam is getting this exposure.... but I desperately hope something will turn up that can be viewed on ordinary equipment... and be purchased by me!

P.S. That Official Poster... with the dramatic Queen "raising of the curtain" is smashing!
Gives me goosebumps!

Popular songs but I wish there was one like "Who wants to live forever"

or some other that really showcases his voice.
