Out singer-songwriter Adam Lambert
isn't a fan of President-elect Donald Trump.
In an interview with Sydney's 2DayFM's
Rove and Sam, Lambert called results of the U.S. election “a
mess.”
“Oh lord, it's a mess,” said
Lambert, who supported Democrat Hillary Clinton for president.
“I’m not really super educated in
terms of politics but I watched the majority of the debates and it
was just so obvious to me that she was the person I would rather
represent my country to my country and to the rest of the world.”
“What she said made sense. She was a
clear communicator. She has experience, all that stuff. Any time
[Donald Trump] spoke I just thought he didn’t make any sense. I
didn’t even understand what he was saying! I think he appealed to a
certain type of person that is very opposite to the type of people
that I know and respect,” Lambert added.

Helloo Adam, I respect your opinion but it ain't no mess! I knew from the get-go he was the right person to take America out of the doldrums, as claimed by him. He knows how to grapple the bull by the horns and throw his opponents down. I've often used this idiom on you, your sheer gusto to sail through the tumultuous winds and tides that tripped you.
Donald Trump speaks with authority and a sense of power with a clear vision. You sing with power...he executes with power but it's basically the same brain power, to steer and come out a winner. Actually, he beat you to it with regard to being a winner; you were supposed to win, alas it got stolen. By the way, the term, rigged, was similarly used by me for the 2009 AI results; maybe his writer reads my comments lol! Just joking!
Trump might've won the election but he has yet to prove himself as a successful, worthwhile, caring President.
Latest US Elections results:
Donald Trump won both! the Electoral and Popular votes.
Being a successful business person doesn't automatically make that person a successful president. There's so much more to it than that.
I'm a minority and I know my life is screwed with Trump as President😢😢😢😢
No one is equating the two...that a successful business magnate "automatically" will be a successful president; definitely not ! But there are a lot of commonalities / prerequisites between the two, such as being an effective facilitator, know people from the ground up, able to provide jobs that literally feed thousands, building a strong safe infrastructure / environment that enable people to live the lives they want to, excel in whatever fields they wish to etc. These commonalities / prerequisites overlap in being a successful business magnate and being a successful president; the latter involving a great deal more complexity, expertise, decisiveness, like in global matters/issues such as trade, security, energy, problems, war etc.
@Lam-My, time will tell.
Rosemary... I am in no position to know or foresee if he would be able to deliver most of the things he stated..."to make America great again". His campaigns/words are just an indication, the tip of the iceberg; the real iceberg lies beneath the ocean which I can't see now, perhaps only after a year or so. The most crucial aspects I look for will be, are Americans happier, safer, are more jobs created for them and is help/healthcare attainable by the poor and middle income, his treatment of minority groups, and the ending of the sufferings/war in Syria, Iraq.
@Lam-My ... The things you mention are crucial to bring these things about ... however ... Trump is just a man .. not a god ... so in order to make these things happen ... there has to be a unity ... everyone has to be on the same page!! Right now there is a division among the people & until that unity is accomplished ... not Trump nor anyone else is going to be able to "fix" these issues. I'm willing to give him a chance but because he has had no prior experience in government I'm not holding my breath that everything is going to turn around right away ... after all ... he has no "magic wand" to wave to make all these things simply disappear!! He's going to need the help of the more experienced leaders & I hope he will seek & listen to those that know more than he does!! Especially on the foreign issues ... but time will tell!!

For many voters Trump was chosen because he is an "outsider" - an asset and a liability as he will still need to work within the "system" that exists before it can be changed. He is a stranger to this system and his learning curve is off the radar. It is no comfort to me that his presidency will be taken up mostly with "job training" and that he has to immediately include the "insiders/lobbyists" and other members of the swamp - contrary to the platform he ran on. He is just beginning to be aware of the intricate mazes and road blocks to governing - multiple levels more complicated than running a real estate business and a TV program.
Hillary Clinton won the popular vote.
Yes, Hillary won the popular vote. Latest count--on CNN.com - 1:35 PM ET - 11/13/2016:
Clinton ---60,981,118 --- 47.8%
Trump -----60,350,241 --- 47.3%
Obama never had a job before being a president. And he turned out to be the worst president ever. He had no experience. So what is the difference. All the protesters should take a look at the map again and Donald J. Trump took it over by a landslide. People are tired of the corruption, so suck it up and get on with your life. I was not for Obama but didn't go out and protest and destroy property. Lets all have peace.
Just for the record - Obama was a civil rights lawyer, a state senator, and a US senator before president. The rest........better to step away from.
Obama had those jobs but never showed up for work. Then when he was in Chicago
where he came from he was a disrupter.
beeinabarn, look at the popular vote. Trump lost the popular vote. He did not win by a landslide. He only won the electoral college.
Electoral votes is what counts. The map was all red. I notices the stock market has gone way up since Trump got in. Yea. Peace to all.
Media had the polls so mess up. They were proven wrong.

I'm not sure I should even address your comment "Obama never had a job before being a president. And he turned out to be the worst president ever. He had no experience." but I can see you came here to stir things up, so I have to differ with you.
You know good and well that Mr. Obama "had a job" before becoming President of the United States. In fact many significant "jobs". To dismiss his long and successful career in law, civil rights, as an attorney and as a State and US senator, is disrespectful at the very least.
Each to your own opinion. I listen to fox news and pick up bits and pieces. Maybe didn't get the full details. I apologize if I offended any one. That's why they call it freedom of speech. I did not come here to stir of the bees nest. As I stated peace to all.
Beeinabarn, I'm sorry to hear Fox News was not sharing all the facts about the popular vote or an election map by color. If you Google "election map" you will get the accurate voting stats as well as see the electoral vote map with red and blue States. I uploaded the current red and blue map for you here:
http://i.imgur.com/toTzKHw.jpg
The coast states are blue States and the middle States are red.
Peace.
Beeinabarn and Lam-My, you really should turn off Fox News and read a newspaper now and then. It would help you develop better informed opinions.
So interesting that Trump supporters seem to view him as their savior. They apparently don't realize or care that Trump is considered a narcissistic crook in his own town. Many prominent New Yorkers refuse to do business with him because he is a liar and a cheat.
I do not watch Fox News, don't have this channel. Got most of the Election news from CNN and online. You assume too much! Like I've said before, I do not know Donald Trump in depth, only through his campaigns. He won! and for the time being, we should accord him this tough, wrangled Election feat!
With regard your claims about "cheat and liar", well, I won't delve into that because both sides seem to have their fair share of shortfalls.
Beeinabarn... First off, Fox news is very partisan.... but even so, I doubt the reporters would be so stupid as to say Obama had no experience before he became President!! They do keep a reasonable semblence of truth.
That's so over-the-top that it's hard to believe anyone said that ... you must have heard an interview of somebody in the opposition.
Beeinabarn... Then, when you were corrected, you changed and said "He had those jobs but never showed up! Which is it? And by the way, that is also completely untrue.
Then you said "I apologize if I offended anyone. That's why they call it freedom of speech."
Freedom of speech involves the truth--- not speeling off anything that is said that worked for your opinion....without fact checking first. That is NOT Freedom of Speech... that is SLANDER! That IS offensive.
Everybody these days is going around twisting the truth to fit what they want to believe, and passing that information on to others who want to believe it, and so on. And there is so much hate that goes with it.
And none of that falls under Freedom of Speech -- it is slander and lying.... and ignorance!
Obama is/was a good president...he sheparded us through the worse recession we have seen since that terrible 1933 crash...saving the auto industry in the process...the unemployment rate is way down from when he took office -- he was making strides to resolve the threat of climate change (in the states and the world)... he was a steady hand on the helm -- and he won the Novel Peace Prize early in his presidency..He got rid of Osama Ben Laden..and much, much more to be proud of... if you take the time to check out the truth.
The Obamas are a class act... I will miss having a president and first lady I can admire and look up to.
Beeinabarn...and other Trump supporters...Last, but not least, go to a location on the web with unbiased accuracy for support for your opinions, quotes, remarks, etc.......
factcheck.com
Go there FIRST.... before blurting nonsense on this website that you've heard and choose to believe.
First place to visit on factcheck.com would be about Obama's "numbers" (accomplishments)during his eight years -- plus his background information. Then check on Hillary -- especially take note of the things that were said about her that were lies, exaggerations and slander.
It appears that the majority of Trump supporters are woefully misinformed-- and did not bother to check the accuracy of the information fed to them before they voted. For that, we will ALL suffer!
