And, lo and behold, another Xmas Chibi!... 22 more to go!

Has anyone noticed how much earlier the Xmas "season" has started this year? It's almost a sacrilege... BEFORE Thanksgiving now, stores decorated, filled with Xmas music... "lo and behold, a child is born" alongside "Rudolph the Red-nosed raindeer".

We can blame the King James Bible for formulating the phrase "lo and behold"...considered "vintage King James"....where it was found liberally sprinkled throughout. Now it turns up as a common Magician's phrase, book and play titles, a documentary film title, a Bob Dylan song, and in such diverse literature as Mark Twain, Kipling, Jane Eyre, Amadeus, Wuthering Heights....and, of course, great reams of religious verse and music.

We can blame Gene Autry for "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Raindeer".

I say "bah humbug"... you can blame Dickens for that!

I had a look at CreativeSharka's instagram page. Lots of gorgeous chibis including chibis of other people plus other Adam art.

BTW - I wasn't saying "bah humbug" about the Chibis....but about Christmas. It's just become too shamefully commercialized.
