I've watched this EMA video countless times... but still it thrills me.

Adam's name was never announced (at his request, I read) when Queen was introduced...he stood there, darkly lit, an unknown figure....and then he began to sing!

I read that as Adam sang, a buzz flowed through the audience.. "Who is he? Such a glorious voice! Fabulous! Until finally someone recognized him, and his name started being passed around the room. By the time they finished, everyone there knew they had just witnessed something very special..something magic. Some even clamored for it to be a re-birth of Queen-- and, in fact, it was the second step (following the American Idol finale) leading to their inevitable pairing as Queen and Adam Lambert.

I love that CreativeSharka is counting down "the years" to Adam's birthday with her quirky art - very generous with her time & thoughtful of her.

I had my cable package upgraded for just this show so I could watch it on TV!! There was a rumor that Lady G. was going to sing with QUEEN too so you can imagine my joy when I recognized the Voice from the shadows coming over the TV to be ADAM!!! He looked like he had been singing with QUEEN all the time ... not just for the first time!! I was so thrilled & Proud of him that I cried!! That was a moment I shall never forget!! I go back to Ytube often to watch this ... never get tired of watching it!! What a great start to a Musical Match made in Heaven!! Thanx!! for posting!!

That EMA performance changed so much in Adam's career. It was the strongest impetus to have him become their official front man. It was a historical night. I've watched it many times, too.
