3 million indeed!...wonderful!...that rendition on X-FACTOR UK was one of his best (and most OTT vocally) of "Somebody To Love". I visit it often.

BTW, can't help but wonder what Adam and Simon Cowell were thinking at that moment..since Simon was a Judge on X Factor UK ...and was sitting a few feet in front of him when Adam sang. Another one of Adam's "full circle" moments!

I also wonder if Adam and Simon had the opportunity to talk at that time. I've often felt that Simon was one of the people instrumental in getting Adam and Queen together at the AL finale. Anyone know anything about that?

I've also felt that Simon was instrumental in getting Adam as a judge on X-Factor Australia, which he was superb at.

Nanbert ... I think that since Simon has been a fan of QUEEN & the admiration he has for ADAM that he probably got to talk to all three QAL members!! I know Simon wanted ADAM to win AI ... you could tell it in his body language when Kris Allen was given the title!! But so what ... anyone can be given a title ... that doesn't necessarily make you a winner!! ADAM was the undeclared winner that season & everyone knew it!! I love this version of Somebody to Love also!! ADAM was really at the top of his game with that performance!! I still get chills every time I watch it!! That's the beauty of all of ADAM's performances ... they never seem the same & they never get old!!

Well said, Lambert Outlaw.....and I DO remember an interview with Cowell some time after that fateful AI when Simon just said outright that Adam SHOULD have won American Idol.

BTW, you were absolutely "on point" when you said about Adam's performances...."they never seem the same & they never get old!"

From recent interviews with QAL about the coming tour, there's going to be a lot of changes in the layout and performances. I have the impression that there's going to be a more spontaneous and free-wheeling (varying from performance to performance) format. Those guys are all so "tight" by this time, that I guess they can handle it.... and, on fact, have already been doing a lot of impromptu performances for a long time, since they are all live. Can't wait!

I love thiscurrent revival of Queen + Adam Lambert. While Adamwill never go over the top as Freddie often did--reason he was never that popular in the US, Adam uses his voice and charisma to reinvent the songs. It's a winning combinations d I'm excited to see where they take it!

BTW...changing the subject a bit...to that amazing Front Man Battle between Adam and James Corden. Just out of curiousity I did a 12 hour study of the number of viewings of that video, as follows:
Sunday, 2/12/2017
1:05 PM EST - 1,997,153 viewings
1:02 AM EST - 1,975,775 viewings

That's an increase of 21,378 viewings in 12 hours....averaging 1,781.5 viewings per hour!

At that rate,it probably will go over 2,000,000 viewings within the next couple of hours....Another milestone.... Whee!!

GREAT advertising for the QAL tour.
