It sure looks like Adam is starting to get in shape for the QAL tour! He can diet and exercise when he puts his mind to it.

Mirela...don't worry.... Adam's not suffering....usually those juice drinks are delicious!

This seems to be ADAM's usual health regimen ... m he's always talking about how much he likes kale ... everything else sounds good to me too .... well maybe not carrots!! LOL

Sounds great - I'm going to try this recipe.

I have never eaten kale. It is very rare in my country. Because Adam likes it so much I'll buy it when I find it.

Nanbert, of this cocktail I just like apple. I noticed that Adam can eat and drink many things that give me creeps ... (escargots). I eat many vegetables because I know they have vitamins and minerals, but do not eat them with pleasure.

Mirela...kale is very mild-tasting...flavor's not so strong as to overpower other flavors, but has a very high nutrition value....which is why it's so popular in "health juice" drinks.

It's a little bit like spinach...good cooked or raw... good alone, or added to other receipes (soups, stews, casseroles) without overwhelming their traditional flavors...but adding to their nutrition.

Nanbert thank you for your information. I will buy kale the first time I go to the supermarket and write it if I like it. In my country it is expensive and it is rare, but if Adam is eating kale, I have to eat too.

I grow & cook Russian kale. It's very popular in my household.

Mirela...you're hilarious...and an adventurous spirit. I'm sure you can find oodles of delicious ways to prepare Kale on the internet.

I expect a full report, haha!

BTW...Kale is one of the "cruciferous" vegetables ....which includes, broccolli, cabbage, cauliflower, chard, arugala, watercress, collard greens... and several more...all very nutricious. FYI..I think Kale is perhaps the mildest flavored of that family, IMO.

fluttsp....is "Russian" Kale different in some way? I've never seen any named like that around here. Do you just harvest branches off a growing plant (so that more will grow back?) or do you pull up the whole plant at the same time?

How nice to be able to pick some of your dinner out in your back yard! I used to have small vegetable gardens in most places I lived. But I'm in a condo now, so I can't have a garden.
