Mirela...I voted! How could there be any doubt?.....Nobody even comes close to Queen and Adam for music and spectacle! Who else can come up with such rousing football chants/songs?
The people who decide on the half-time show better decide RIGHT for the next one.....before Queen decides to "close shop" for good....which would be the WORSE missed opportunity EVER for the Superbowl half-time show!
Why bother? We Voted for QAL this year & they won the poll but who performed this year? .. Justin Timberlake!! These polls are just an opinion ... NFL decides who they want regardless of who wins a poll!! Same as these TopTens polls .. I vote for ADAM there every single day plus I share on FB & Twitter but the results remain the same unless you're in the Top 10 ... otherwise I don't even think they bother to change it!! I know it's a useless cause but I still keep trying ... guess I'm just a cock-eyed optimist or a stubborn old "be-otch"!!

Thank you for the rose! Reading the previous postings, I wish so desperately QAL would perform at the Super Bowl halftime. They are perfect for an event like this! I'm still puzzled to how Coldplay was asked to perform! I didn't care for their performance, I had a problem hearing what Chris Martin was singing, could not hear him. If Adam was performing, I would hear everything he'd be singing. Chris Martins voice IS NOT suited for a huge arena/outdoor venue. Adams voice IS suited!!! Queen would blow the place up with their guitar ripping, drum pounding and phenomenal vocals to the ethers!!!!
We can always hope that Queen + Adam Lambert are invited, but to be honest, it is generally artists with new music to promote. And artists who have some really good promo & management. At least that seems to be the case in the last several SB Halftimes. Obviously hearing the iconic band Queen's music at Superbowl Halftime would be an absolutely fantastic event but we can only hope for the best.. And yes, it will need to be soon.. while the original men of Queen still have the desire and the energy to do it..
Anything is possible but I do agree that voting for them to perform is probably not the way it will happen.. But again, we can hope!!!! So keep voting because it doesn't hurt to give them our continued support!
