Just so you all know QAL from what I heard on CSNBC is suppose to be on last. That what they said. I get the station. They are of course the headliners. But be sure to keep checking. But that is what was said by the reporter from the station at Central park. Also you know more interview of Adam. That sign on Central park is off the charts. Enjoy the show. They did say they were headliners.

Yes, Queen + Adam Lambert will be on last because they are the headliners and they always save the best for last!!

Watching all of it really good. But the best is yet to come and blow the roof off QAL. They said the majority wanted to see Queen and Adam Lambert. AK on now really good. But cannot wait for Queen and Adam. RM and his girl friend are there up front. Just saw Rami in the crowd. Still watching.

Just watched QAL! I could put a million exclamation marks in this post and it wouldn't be enough. They were so stupendous. How does Adam remain so perfect? How?
I love the fact that there were people in the audience and viewers at home who just discovered him tonight on TV and found him beyond fantastic. Maybe even buy his own music. He put so much personality into his performance tonight. And he was off the charts vocally.

WOW! What a show!

I watched the entire show on my big screen TV. OMG! What talent we witnessed today - the best of the best. Alicia Keys is a killer - amazing. But, even though I was getting tired in the last hour - I really perked up for QUEEN and Adam Lambert. There are not enough superlatives to describe the strength that they displayed in their performance tonight. They are such magic together - they exuded power in that show. The audience, many young people, were really in tune with the moment. Our boys were bloody on FIRE! And, ADAM, oh my goodness, Adam - you win first prize. Talent is an understated word to describe Adam. He fell from heaven as a baby with his little gossamer wings and has now soared to the highest mountain top with powerful wings of steel..........Well, I can now take a walk outside with my little dog, totally satiated, and a heart full of joy. Thank you to all of the amazing entertainers that created this marvelous concert for us. Jean Renard

Can't wait to see and hear more reactions in the media tomorrow! With Adam at the helm, Queen is untouchable. Apparently, Brian just tweeted that this show was on a par with their epic Live Aid show.

I think this is one more coup for Adam that will raise his visibility even higher for promoting his own music, too. I think his picture should be put back up on the jumbo screen in Times Square! Adam knew the world was watching, and he delivered beyond all limits.

I did not get to see this show live this last year. So I'm so grateful for this magnificent experiance. I know it was a bit shorter not as many Adam costume changes. Adam was off the charts the whole band put every ounce of greatness they could muster in their performances. Boy they sure were spectacular. Adam was like both you said talent is just not strong enough word for Adam. He was beyond on fire. I did not think it was possible for Adam to get better than I've seen him before but he took it to the stratosphere. Flat out fabulous. ALicia Keys was quite good. For me Queen QAL topped the cake with beautiful explosive glitter. I was thrilled it was as long as it was. They packed over 2 hours of joy in about an hour and a half. Just wonderful.the entire show was top notch loved it!!!!

Could there be an Emmy in this somehow?

Glamitup said...

That was crazy good. Just when I think they can’t get any better, they do. Just can’t get over how amazing that was.

Was I the only one talking to the tv, during the performance and saying: “you better not EVEN break to a commercial!” Lol! I must have said it 20 times! Lol

Dee R Gee said...

I want all the people who just discovered Adam through this performance to know that he is this good ALL THE TIME! This wasn't just a rare occurrence. I'm still trying to lift my chin up off the floor!

As the younger generation say, IT WAS LIT !!!!!!!!! Mad RESPECT for our guys! It was 8:13 Central time-9:15, an hour of pure QAL ecstasy! What else could I add to the already amazing comments from all of you here before me!? That costume of Adams, the Black and Gold one, just turns me on when he wears it, his bit of attitude and his overall performance is masterful! So happy for Brian and Roger, even for Tyler, Neil and Spike whom also got to experience this epic event! Back to Roger he looked handsome dressed up in a tie, but later was dressed casually. Love the super close ups of Adam I wanted to wipe off the sweat from his face! His smile throughout the show and Brian and Roger equally overjoyed! In Adams first interview, he was cut off and just seconds before QAL would perform his other interview was also cut off! :(. Then that one commercial break and they came back, Adam had began to sing Another One Bites the Dust already! Grrrrr. Rami and Lucy were too cute, too cute, too cute! :). Love the young people singing along also, much fun to watch! You noticed after it was all done all the Hosts were raving about Queen and Adam!!!!! Then did you guys see the highlights after that? Adams gorgeous face was the last picture shown!!!! Yes ONE EPIC and LIT SHOW!!!!!

Glamily, earlier in the event did you see who was part of the house band? Did you noticed who played the Congas? It was the female drummer who had been playing for Adam on drums! I quickly spotted her and at one point caught her chewing gum! Lol. She looked very pretty last night, had her hair pulled up to her left side with highlights! They mentioned I think Musical director from Stephen Colbert show. I was so happy to see Carole King, I love her and have her TAPESTRY on a Cassette Tape ( yep kinda showing my age, lol), and I sang along with her and then my girl Kelly Clarkson pops out too! Yay. I enjoyed Ben Platt, liked what he sang too, and I liked HER and the first song she sang too! Danced along with Pharrell Williams, sang along with Alicia Keys, damn she killed it last night! That Girl Was On Fire!, yes PUN intended. I had so much fun watching this 6 hour event honestly! Oh yeah, I LOVE ONEREPUBLIC! I sang along with them too! Love a lot of their music! Don't know if I'll watch next year?, think they're going to do it a bit longer and stream from other parts of the country/world. Depending who's performing, we'll see. September 28, 2019 was an AWESOME DAY to remember!

I know I always harp on this but that was Super Bowl worthy and more. I just wish they would get the shot. They have earned it. I will never understand it. So dissapointed....again. That performance was brilliant. It really was. Legends.

Dee R Gee said...

I think this widely broadcast performance caught the eye of lots of people who never would have seen QAL. Maybe this one wake up the Superbowl peeps and they're consider asking QAL for 2021 or thereabouts. Before it's too late!
