At the happenstance request of a fan, Adam Lambert decided to proceed with a "Twitter party" after having arrived in Auckland, New Zealand, February 1, 2020.  Queen + Adam Lambert are beginning the New Zealand / Australia portion of their 2020 World Tour on Wednesday, February 5th in Wellington, NZ.  The twitter party was compiled by fan Angel_nDisguise who assembled it on the social media app Imgur, below.  (Place your cursor on top of the image and arrows will appear to enable you to click and scroll through all the messages.)

Adam Lambert's twitter party from Auckland, Feb 1 2019

Thank you to our reader Mi Re La for the find.

One of the really great things that we learned from Adam is that we can expect a solo tour this year! He said he'll be announcing more about that soon.. And of course the second part of his Velvet album will be out soon as well! Great twitter party! I do have to say I missed it as I was sound asleep on the US west coast..

And by the way, I appreciate that some of the readers here on the blog have expressed concern about my absence. As our dear friend @Broddybounce had explained, I'm having computer issues and also have had some major changes with my job that has required my attention.. I'm fine, and hope to be back here on a regular basis soon.. I do keep up with Adam and all that is happening in his career and with Queen.. Much good news!

First of all, it's great to hear that you're ok, glitzy. We are a family and we do care about each other. Welcome back!

And it was a really good twitter party! We got news about the solo tour, which is the BEST news ever! And more news about Velvet Side B and a new music video for one of the songs. The lyrics we have heard from Roses are very erotic and sexy. He says it's like a Valentine's Day gone bad. LOL. I'm sure we will love it. Having Nile involved is a nice bonus. He really likes and respects Adam. Nice to know he's got VSB all finished and ready to go. And he gave us a few tidbits about hair and makeup and new fashion to come. A real font of info!

Loving the QAL tour, but it's a bit scary to see our guys in those protective face masks. That terrible virus is very serious. I hope something can be done soon to clear it up. So sad for those who have died.

Hi glitzylady, good to have you back! I can't believe I missed another Twitter party, one day I hope. Adam did fill us in on his new single, Velvet Side B, his tour YAY! So many goodies to look forward to! It's so good to be a Glambert!

Scary indeed to see the guys in those masks, but I'm sure they're all totally safe ! Great Twitter party, must be doing a solo tour towards the end of the year surely ? As I've a feeling they'll increase the European leg of their tour, doubt anymore concerts added to the UK tour, but that's ok, I've got my O2 tickets x3, and Birmingham x2

Angeladam, So jealous that you're going to both the O2 and the Birmingham shows! They will be epic.

Now that we are assured that there will be a solo tour, we just have to wait for the details. When and Where! I'm sure there are some plans in the works already. These things take a lot of planning. Adam will need to rest up a bit. Can't wait to see the tour schedule.

To Nanbert, Sunflower and all. My stepson has ben taken off machines and has today passed away. I am very upset but I promised I let you know. Love Sue.

@Sue Smith - I know how devastated your family feels. My family just went through the same thing - my younger brother had knee surgery and set up a severe infection that went into his blood stream, which shockingly caused him to go into cardiac arrest. They put him on life support for about 10 days, to no avail. His wife had all the life-support systems removed and he peacefully passed away within a couple of minutes. We are still mourning his passing - such a great guy who was taken way too soon by an infection he developed from the very hospital where he had the knee surgery/replacement. Sue, at least you know that everything that could have been done for him was done. Draw on your strength from God and just know that all of us Glamberts send our deepest condolences to you and your family. Jean Renard

Sue, I am so sorry to hear about your stepson. It's a difficult thing to deal with. Please accept my deepest sympathies. I lost a close loved one fairly recently, also. It helps to have the support of family and friends.

Dee R Gee, Jean R Thank you so much. So very sorry for your younger brother Jean that is an awful thing to have happened to your brother. I appreciate very much your thoughts right now.
He went peacefully very shortly after machines were turned off. I was remembering him as the little boy just now I used to take care of.

Dee R Gee so sorry for your loss as well. I'm so sorry I am so tired. I've had to text so many about Rusty. Be back in a week or so hopefully.

Sue....so sorry to hear the news! I was not terribly surprised after you related the "relapse" that he had in the hospital. But it is still so sad and heartbreaking for his family...for you. It sounded from your description that he had been ill for a long time, and probably in a great deal of pain. At least he is now "free" of a long, lingering, painful finish to his life. Perhaps there is some solace for you and your family in that.

My best wishes for acceptance and resolution for you and yours. Hopefully, this will draw you all closer to each other in this tragedy. My thoughts are with you. Thanks for letting us know....Glamberts are family.

Thank you so much Nanbert. My kids have
Alway thought of Rusty as their brother and the other way around. God came for him. Glamberts are family that's how it should be. His wife has to be exsausted
She never left him in the hospital.
The funeral and all is this week not sure when yet. Be back hopefully in a week or so. Thank you it means alot to me from all of you.

@Angeladam - How lucky you are! Question - are you going to 02 three separate times and Birmingham two separate times? If you are, I think you have broken the record for the number of concerts to attend during one big QAL tour. Please, give us a firsthand report from you after the concerts. I know you must be 'through the roof' with excitement. I have had the wonderful pleasure to meet some Glamberts from 24/7 at past concerts, especially the two concerts QAL held a few years ago in Las Vegas (I think it was 2014). We even had a party in the bar of the Hard Rock Hotel, where, my goodness, the drinks were really flowing. Jean Renard

Jean Renard, yes will attend three nights at 02, and 2 nights at Birmingham,ha ha , yes there's usually quite a few of us travel together and all staying in the same hotel ! I remember ( it was Adam's solo tour though in London a few year ago now,) we decided we'd toast the concert with some Tequila ..... ooops but we had fun !. When I go to see QAL concerts with my hubby, I have to behave and act my age( apparentley !)been to Germany, Netherlands, Helsinki, Romania to see them over the past years, but lots of fans I know ( well not personally) have followed them around the World ( lucky people . looking forward to them all, seems like 2020 is a wake up call for me in lots of ways !
