Adam and Queen Official just announced that, due to the pandemic, they have regretfully made the painful decision to postpone the UK/Europe portion of the Queen + Adam Lambert tour, which was scheduled for late spring and into the summer of this year, to 2021.  Adam, Brian, Roger and the rest of the musicians and crew have a long break ahead of them, but we are first glad that everyone is healthy and OK and that they are taking the proper precautions for themselves and all the fans attending the concerts and we are likewise relieved that nothing has been canceled — Show Must Go On!  Hopefully, they will also be able to come back to America, Asia and Australia next year, if they can fit it in.   We wish them all well!

From the release:
Singer Adam Lambert added: “I am very disappointed that we won’t be touring Europe as planned, but we have to look after each other and put everyone’s health first. Look forward to getting out there when it’s safe.”

Well, it was inevitable. The way things are going, this was not a surprise. I would hazard a guess that Adam's solo tour for late this fall will likely not happen either. For sure his solo Europe shows scheduled for this spring will not happen. This is a year for the history books. I hope Adam keeps up his regular contact with his fans. Hopefully he'll put together a little performance of his new music to keep the songs out there and just have a bit of fun.

Meanwhile, keep streaming and viewing and sharing whenever you can!

I meant Adam's solo shows in September in Europe. His Vegas shows have been rescheduled for October, so there is a SLIGHT chance that his Europe show in Sept. May happen, but I don't want to get my hopes up too high.

Sad to hear, but I think they have made a wise move. The future for any tours for anyone is very uncertain at this time. Don't have any idea how Adam will fill his time. Brian and Roger
have many other things to keep them busy, even from home. When the curfew lifts in CA, Adam might be able to do some studio work.

It's a shame, but better safe than sorry. QAL has many people working/living in close quarters during a tour.... one COVID-19 case among them could put them ALL into quarantine...probably in the country they were currently touring in. And those huge crowds they perform for would simply be huge petri dishes! The same would be true of Adam's solo tour.

They'd be wise to avoid touring until the virus has completely subsided...worldwide!. Sad to say, that looks like a long time from now...if ever!

Just think how lucky that they weren't already touring during this pandemic! Those talents are too precious to be lost!

This brings back memories of the seasonal polio epidemics when I was a kid...very scary. My parents kept me confined inside to keep me safe....couldn't play with friends, swimming pools, parks, playgrounds were closed. Thanks goodness for the vaccine! But that didn't come until the 1950's. I hope it won't take that long for the COVID-19 vaccine!

Dee! Thank you for mentioning about the Vegas shows being rescheduled. I'm actually GOING to the shows and have not received ONE WORD from Ticketmaster or the Venetian about new dates. Last time I checked it was TBA.

And, of course, that means that we have not announced that here (but I will!).

So, when and where did you ever find out about the reschedule..?

And thanks again!

And, oddly enough, I just discovered the new dates aren't even up on Ticketmaster yet! It still just says "Postponed"..!! Talk about uncoordinated! Well, I guess it's because it's these times, staff reductions, etc. And, so, that's probably why I haven't yet been notified by Ticketmaster. I'm guessing these new dates were published very recently. ???

New Vegas dates are October 16,17, 21, 23 and 24. Saw it on Adamtopia fansite a while back and I've seen it around Hope you can still go!

Found it on Adamtopia, posted just a few ago — turns out that Adam posted about it on IG and Twitter, but somehow missed that. I just updated the post to reflect all that.

Dont worry Adam will keep himself busy.
If this virus had not happened Adam had a full year of go,go,go. I'm glad he getting some rest and new ideas for shows in the future are popping in.
I just read 17 answers about relationships and plans Adam did for 17 magazine. He said he now has time to plan the solo tour now.
Oviously things are delayed do to this virus but he said there will be a solo tour it will happen. It could be some at the end of the year or into next year sure he does not know yet. However he said he is planning the solo tour and it will happen.
Eventually it will all happen even if the sept. Tour is rescheduled. I cannot see the world remaining closed indefinitely.
So hope they do get a vaccine. The politicians are not going to let America stay closed forever. unfortunately even if the vaccine not ready. I just hope things get better and people stay safe because they are still flocking around. Showed on TV the farmers market in Houston was packed on Sunday that's not a grocery store. Yes they have groceries ect. However food all out in the open ect.
People still walking in neighbor hoods like my kids live very close together and in many out at once.
We need to get this thing under control and back to normal. Yes it will take time but stuff like that happening all over America is not helping. People need go in twos and not side by side. Oviously I am very close to hubby but do some distancing.
Brian is isolating just like Adam. So like Adam he is doing what he can from home and at home. Cannot imagine why with this new Album out and so many things to plan that will eventually happen, Adam would have any problem keeping busy. He bought equipment to work with as well I believe.

Broddy you're not going to give me credit for telling you about Adam's rescheduled tour dates a couple of days ago? Feeling small :( By the way I found out from my Twitter feed. :)

Sunflower! Please forgive me! At first I didn't know what you were talking about. And then I went back to the comment string that we "conversed" about that issue and, my apologies, I misinterpreted what you wrote. I thought you were saying that Adam said there WOULD be new dates — not that he JUST ANNOUNCED THE NEW DATES! Had I understood, I would have set up a new post right then and there (and it would have been more timely!). As you'll see from my response, I said something to the effect of, oh, we'll look out for those. No, no, always credit where due — and I've just done so on the post! You are co-billed with Miss Dee! Thanks!

Awww shucks broddy, I guess I have to forgive you now since my name ( well not my real name, heehee) along with Dee R Gees name is posted. Thank you for that. I promise the next time to be more clear on what I say, so I too apologize to you! The thing is that I get excited and start typing fast and it's when I don't explain myself correctly trying to hurry up and get the exciting news out! Lol. :)
