Adam Lambert, who was originally scheduled to be the opening performer at The 31st Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York on March 19th until it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will now be among a slew of artists who will join together in a new livestream "at-home" event hosted by GLAAD this Sunday, April 26, 2020 called Together in Pride: You Are Not Alone.

The webcast starts at 5pm PDT / 8pm EDT on GLAAD's YouTube and Facebook accounts.

Adam is being promoted as one of three "special guests," along with Schitt's Creek star Dan Levy and Pose star MJ Rodriguez, but there is no indication that he will sing during the webcast, with the only artists listed as performing being Melissa Etheridge and Kesha.  Of course, we would love to be surprised with a performance from Adam; however, there are no indicators of that happening as of this writing. Others scheduled to appear during the livestream include Matt Bomer, Kathy Griffin, Sean Hayes and Sharon Stone.

Together In Pride: You Are Not Alone, according to GLAAD's website, "will highlight the LGBTQ response to COVID-19 and amplify messages of acceptance and affirmation to the LGBTQ community and people living with HIV during this unprecedented time. ... (The) livestream will also raise critical funds for CenterLink, a coalition of more than 250 LGBTQ community centers from 45 states, Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, as well as Canada, China, Mexico, and Australia."

Glad to see Adam as a featured participant in this. He's in good company. It would make sense if he did perform, but I'm not getting my hopes up too much. Kesha somehow finds a way to perform in these things no matter what. Go figure. Anyway, it's an honor to be a part of this and I'm glad Adam will be a "special guest," whatever that entails.

Wish it was an actual TV broadcast, although I'm not sure it has been in the past. It's certainly an interesting mix of people.

Dee, yes it's funny that Kesha — and, not to mention, Sam Smith — and, coincidentally, both good friends of Adam, keep being invited to perform at many of these types of events at times that Adam is not (e.g., Sam Smith got to duet with John Legend on the main broadcast the other night). I happen to think Adam is light years beyond the other two in talent; but the producers and/or bookers of these shows can sometimes be a bit predictable and/or short-sighted! Dee, if you and I were the talent bookers, we know who we'd be putting front & center!

Yep. Adam deserves to get a lot more of these special gigs. Don't know why he is passed over. I like Sam well enough. Good guy. And Kesha disappeared for quite a while with legal battles and came back without losing much ground. She sings ok, just about as well as most of the people in my family. LOL No better, no worse. As Adam has said, it's not about the voice. Adam would have been fantastic in that final performance of The Prayer. We've heard him sing it before. As good as that group of singers were, he would have added a much-needed richness to the performance. I would love to be a talent booker with you! It would be Adam-Palooza!

WOW! The three of them finally did it! A big powerful WATC with Adam belting it out perfectly. Anyone who still doubts Adam as Queen's frontman will be a believer when they hear this. Bravo!

In my opinion if you hear Adam sing Queen or any song once and you do not acknowledge what a talent Adam is your full of noodles. Adam gets alot of love which he richly deserves. He also gets total nonsense on the internet because a bunch of whack jobs love trolling the internet or they are a so called fan of another person.
I am 71 and Adam is the best technically perfect singer I have ever heard. Not to mention the exquisite tone of his voice and so much more. I am not a singing expert by any means but I love his voice. He has worked most of his life to fine tune that instrument.
There are certainly some very good singers in this world and Adam is among one of the greatest he can sing any song.
This is all just my opinion and I'm just venting a little but I mean it.
They should have had QAL skyped into that program. They could have sang any thing at all and it would have been the best on the program. Maybe that was the problem they would have been the best.
Adam was suppose to open the NY Glaad awards they will be held later this year both LA and NY ones. I imagine he will still open the show. If he is not abroad at the time. He was nominated in one of the main categories and I hope he wins. Melissa E may have been slated to open the LA Glaad awards. Who knows I don't. I can tell you he certainly was the highlight of the 6 hour online production Saturday in my opinion and I watched alot of it. Mad World was just heavenly and SP was very good.

I'm going to go watch the QAL performance now!

I agree broddy, Dee R Gee and Sue with all your comments! Adam was the best one during those 6 hours. As for Kesha that woman "rubs me off the worst way". Can't stand her, she came on before Adams 2nd appearance, I went to the kitchen while she sang and sounded like a "Banshee" at one point! Eww Adam should of sang on The Prayer" not John Legend, ( I like John too) but Adam's voice would of blended better. I also like Sam but he doesn't bother me much. :)
