Gotta say, Adam rarely meets someone who can out-talk him, but Jess comes pretty darn close. LOL I really enjoyed this conversation. Adam was finally able, in person, to chare his views and beliefs and his passion. He did it very well. I voted early and am so relieved that I did. This election has some rocky days ahead until the dust settles. But it must be decided fairly and legally. Presidential election outcomes are rarely decided on election night. It's worth getting it right.

And Adam looks like an angel.

First of all I see he shaved his sides of his beard, his face is cleaner (my favorite look) but not when he shaves his sides from his hair. Secondly he's just the cutest and funniest during the first minutes, still can't work those IG Lives. Lol thirdly I enjoyed very much the conversation and agree with everything said. I am nervous tho, I too voted early (Oct.6) in person at my local courthouse. I also cut off a friendship of many years because I support Biden and she for Trump and this made it easy for me to break this friendship because of other issues that was becoming toxic. I pray for a peaceful outcome BUT Trump has threatened the Governor of Pennslvania and other Governors on the ballot counts, he says he has his eyes on them. :(

Sunflower....I too am unhappy to see that he's shaved the sides of his hair....my LEAST favorite hairstyle of his!. Notice how it appears to alter all the proportions of his face. Very unflattering IMO.

BTW..Just saw a TV interview with the Attorney General of Pennsylvania, who says they've already defeated 6 lawsuits by the Trump Admin. attacking Pennsylvania's mail-in voting regulations...and he fully expects that Pennsylvania will continue to prevail over any further Trump lawsuits.

Sorry about your broken friendship, but its certainly understandable....there's a huge gulf between Trump and Biden supporters that does not lend itself to friendship or unity. Hope that division will gradually dissipate AFTER BIDEN IS ELECTED!

Prefer him with more hair at the sides hope the election goes the right way for you all in the US got everything crossed !

Adam's hair grows really fast. I've learned to not let shaved sides bother me.

This is such an important day! Hoping for a good outcome!

Thanks Nanbert, it had been quite a few years that I wanted to cut my friendship and this election has been a great excuse to do so. She was just a Negative Nancy ( her real name, haha) and it made me feel miserable. I come here and other sites to get my dose of Adam and then I feel better. Yep Adam is a cure-all! Haha

Well, Sunflower, I'm happy for you that it was a relief rather than a loss.

As I write this, it is the morning after the election....and still no final results. Grump...err...Trump falsely declared himself a winner about 2 AM....and demanded that all vote counting be stopped...but mail in ballots are still being counted in several key states. This suspense is excruciating! Can't remember when I've ever been so anxious! My state, Pennsylvania, is one of the cliff-hangers...and has declared that all mail-in votes may not be counted until Friday, and possibly after. Trump has been launching lawsuits to stop all vote counting after election day, so far unsuccessful.

Obama said something while speaking for Biden in Florida....that sticks firmly in my mind..."When Biden is President, you won't have to think about him all the time, he'll just be being your President"...or something approximately like that. And it made me realize how Trump has constantly dominated our thoughts and concerns every day of his presidency! His grandstanding (and tweets) has kept the entire country on edge from day one! Biden won't be such a soap opera! He'll just quietly...and efficiently.... be working for us! Boy, do we need THAT!

All that!....and THEN, at the same time...Adam shaves the sides of his head!....Oh my!

Nanbert Biden is going to win. As for slow count of votes it just means trump loses a few days of his continued destruction tactics. He's going to be worse than ever no matter if he wins or loses. What we need is more Senate seats. I think it's four that we need and I only know of Arizone, Hawaii and Colorado that has given us new Senators. I'm totally disgusted that Iowa is solid red. All people had to do was look at the records of how the Rs voted against their interests. Kentucky stayed red also, UGH!

Biden is going to win.

Patria said...

oops, sorry I'm totally wrong about Hawaii.

Oregon has had mail in voting for several years. I don't know when they start the count but it's probably before election day. Maybe all or at least more states will adopt that way before next general election. It would stop the mobs like those currently harassing the vote counters to stop counting like what is going on in PA now. Scary

Nor that I like talking American politics on here , and probably not of any interest, but over here in the UK the majority census of opinion is that Biden will win by a margin of votes fingers crossed

Rosemary White said...

Maybe the whole world is hoping that Biden will win .... well, most of the whole world!

Nanbert said...

Biden will be the kind of President we All need....not only in the U.S., but in the whole world. And he knows the ropes! A true "Statesman"...and a really NICE GUY!

Patria said...

On to the new cliff hanger. Who will have control of the Senate? We won't know until after the first of the year.
groan

Angeladam said...

Rosemary yes think you’re right !!

Nanbert said...

Patria....the Senate's not looking too good so far. Mcconnell and Lindsey Graham have been re-elected....DAMN! Fingers crossed that final votes and possible reruns will bring the Democrats into the majority in the Senate. That would topple McConnell and open the possibility that Biden will not face Republican obstruction to everything he needs/wants to do to get our nation back on the right track.

Patria said...

No it doesn't look good Nanbert. There are probably several reasons they are still in but I go with the theory that many people just voted for Biden and left the rest of the ballot blank. They have got to understand that they also need to vote for the down ballot races/dems. Mcconnell and Graham have been doing their dirty work long before Trump came on to the scene. Trump needed and got their blessing to do as he pleases from the very beginning.

My body has been in such a high state of anxiety for so long I'd probably have withdrawal symptoms if it went away. ha ha

I've been an independent/no party affiliation for so many years I never knew how to identify myself. After all this I have picked the label 'progressive-pro equal rights for all'. I did sign on as a Democrat so I could vote in the primary and will not change back because I never plan to vote for a Republican again.

Nanbert said...

Patria, I too have been an independent all my life...voting for Republicans sometimes, and Democrats sometimes. But after Trump turned up, I registered myself as Democrat, and will never vote for a Republican again since I've seen what they have allowed/helped Trump to do to our country.....invertebrates!
