I commented on the previous thread....before these video gems from the concert were added here.

But still have to repeat that Adam was on fire....better than ever! I couldn't stop grinning the whole time he was on. Besides that fantastic voice, he has such presence! That stage just seemed too small for him.

The performance with Kim Petras was great. They had good chemistry.

I agree! Adam was on fire! You could tell he was SO ready to perform a again. LOVE that hair! So edgy. So ADAM. Every song was great!

And while I thought his outfit was very fun (leather and plaid, nice combo), I thought the skirt AND the pants were a bit much. It's like wearing a belt AND suspenders. LOL

He sure was sweating! And he gave 10000%

Adam was just amazing last night! I didn’t want him to stop, sooo good to see him perform in front of a live audience! That duet with Kim Petras was cute to watch ( well I thought it was). LOL. At first glance of Adam’s hair I was like “oh I don’t know”?, but as he performed I liked it and it looked so soft to the touch ( but probably wasn’t due to hair products). Haha. Enjoying everyone else’s pieces of video from Adam’s part of the event.

hahahaha, Dee R Gee, I thought the same about the skirt and pants...bit of overkill.! They had to be hot to perform in....that material wasn't lightweight. Nice plaid, though..in Adam's avowed favorite color, green...with a bit of sparkle woven in. Custom designed by him?...it's possible...I'm no longer surprised at his inventiveness/craftiness/artistry. But he still looked absolutely splendid...as usual!

No matter...Adam always manages to pull off most any costume with aplomb and panache, doesn't he? While watching the program, I was amused at the side comments clammoring for Adam to appear....and many asking "Wonder what he'll be wearing?". Heh heh...we Glamberts are ALL brainwashed! Ain't it great?

I did see the point of Adam wearing pants under the kilt because, well, one must wear something.. what with the traditional nothing under the kilt and his performing on a raised stage...if you you get my drift :)))))

Although yes, he did seem a bit overdressed for the weather but it's okay, he looked good!

And it was SO GREAT to see Adam performing live again! And so thankful for the opportunity to watch it, even if it was from the comfort of my own home on my laptop screen..

We can say that this is not the first time that Adam has worn pants under a skirt. I remember a Queen concert, he had a black skirt open in front over black pants as well. I don't know if anyone here remembers that.

Yes, BettyC, I remember, too. That performance/costume was memorialized in "Live Around the World"...when Adam was singing "The Show Must Go On"... and also found on Youtube.

I wonder if the skirt/pants combo are attached or separate pieces? Glitzylady, I get your drift about performing on a raised stage with a skirt....my thought also. Black tights could have handled that. After all that WAS NOT a kilt anyway, but a skirt. But frankly, I would have preferred the pants alone...more flattering lines for Adam.

After watching all the videos here from Adam's (finally) "LIVE" return umpteen times, I have realized that this is one of the few times that we have seen Adam doing a duet with an established professional artist.

We have often remarked on Adam's "generosity" when duetting with amateur contestants, but that was NOT called for in this case....and Adam went "full out"! The duet with Kim Petras was SO energetic and equally give-and-take...as it should be....and really fun! They seemed to be enjoying it as well. The "generosity" part was that they were singing one of Kim's songs together, I guess....and sharing one of Queen's.
