Adam Lambert 24/7 News

I am not traveling over seas because of health reasons, but I know many who are. There are even some going to Moscow and that's quite the trip. Worth it and wishing I was one of them.

First of all, he is the real deal indeed...

He has the range and capabilities for doing so...

No matter what others think and dislike, Adam is one of the best vocalist in this generation.

I'll be damn if anyone will disagree with this magnificent singer!!!

have to find out the dates in july in uk. want to go so hope i can. i think his tour in u.s.will not be til fall or maybe next year. gnt didn't start til 7 months after fye came out. have to wait and see i guess. too much angst here waiting.

I'm thrilled for the fans that had already gone to great expense to attend the Sonisphere Festival and for those fans that are able to make the trip. Most of all I'm happy for Adam. He was so honored and excited for this privilege and it ill give him much needed exposure worldwide. The US will have to take notice. Queen will perform at the 2012 Olympics and if all goes well they will ask Adam for that amazing performance as well. Keeping my fingers crossed that this will give Adam the respect and credibility that he so richly deserves. He's magnificent and "cream will always rise to the top."

While I think it's great he is performing with Queen I also think he is his own front man. Why would he have to hang on to them. Def doesn't need someone to carry him. He is the greatest singer of our time.

I think you may miss the point: Adam was asked to sing a few gigs with them..While we know he is unbelievably talented and we know he is his "own frontman" (he has said as much, as you no doubt know..), he is also very very honored to sing with them..

He will get more exposure by doing so, and I also simply ask "Why not??" Not everyone in the world knows who Adam is or knows, like we do, how amazing he is. His European Music Awards show with Queen in November brought him accolades and new fans. He is working to become better known in the UK and Europe, and obviously the rest of the world. The more people who are aware of and familiar with who Adam Lamber IS, will help to bring more people to his own concerts. So it can have a very positive effect on his own growing career and fan base.

He will undoubtedly be putting together his tour at some point as well. So far this Queen association is 4 concerts, 2 in Russia, 2 in London, although neither Queen nor Adam has officially confirmed. We also know that Queen has been asked to perform at the Olympics. As to whether they will, and whether Adam will be a part of that, is still also unconfirmed. IF Adam were to sing with Queen at the Olympics, it would be a HUGE thing for him and his career. I've heard that the audience could be in the neighborhood of 2 BILLION or more people around the world. I think Adam is very smart to accept Queen's invitation to sing with them on occasion. He will certainly have his own career as well. I don't see how it could possibly be bad for him or his career. This can only make him more well known faster and to a larger audience. He is not becoming a member of Queen, just singing with them. He is not giving his own career for them. He has said that many times. There is a difference. I would personally give anything to see them perform together...I don't think I'll be going but I would sure like to...The GREATS: Queen, Freddie Mercury's music, and Adam Lambert. And I have to say I am so happy that Brian May and Roger Taylor can recognize greatness when they see and hear it..After all, they worked with one of the greats in music, Freddie Mercury...Adam is merely helping to keep his music alive, by doing it his way with his gorgeous voice. I am so excited for Adam..He deserves to be recognized for his talent. And this is one way that can happen for him.. : ))

Glitzy lady, I absolutely agree with your comments. Adam is not replacing Freddie or becoming the new front man for Queen. He said it is an honor to be asked to perform with them. Many people did not know of his performance at the EMAs with them and he certainly was amaaaazing there. Any opportunity for Adam to sing in front of large audiences, crowds can only bode well for him and later bring more people to his own concerts with this new album and an eventual tour. To me, he is the best vocal talent in the music industry today probably appreciated more internationally than here in America. Hopefully with the release of TRESPASSING and the next single from it, Adam will be on his way to superstardom that has thus far eluded him. He is a star in my eyes, but I think we, as his devoted fans, want so much more for him and I believe that this year will be one of his best both personally and professionally.

I'd love to go to all the concerts including the Kiev concert. I read that Adam is sharing the headlining with Sir Elton - should be a PHENOMENAL show. Maybe Adam and Sir Elton will sing a song or two or more together. Sadly, I won't be attending any of the concerts but we get a better view on TV anyway although it's definitely not the same as being there .... the atmosphere should be electric to the max!!

I put Indianapolis as place of birth, obviously didn't read the question properly, or else its because I'm not American and don't know the states that well....also got the project runway question wrong about the magazine cover, again using the non American as an excuse as I've never watched the programme, only Adams snippets, whi8ch while I'm sure they must have mentioned which magazine it was for I was far too busy watching Adam to actually listen to anyone talk...And I put Donnie Darko as the movie, as I knew Madworld was from that....forgot he didn't actually sing that on 'cinema' night!!

@adamluv- I took that adam quiz and got 2 wrong only because I spelled the answers wrong by one letter. lol In my mind, i got all 20 questions right. hehe

The Elton John thing, EJ's being a fan, is a very powerful thing, seperate from the Queen thing. I think sometimes people forget what a true brilliant musical TALENT and GENIUS Elton John is... sometimes other EJ stuff leaps to people's minds, but people in the music industry and with any music cred whatsoever know that if a genius like EJ thinks you're worthy of playing on a bill with him, that's saying something! It's not just comradiere in the LGBT community with EJ and AFL, I think EJ truly understands the crazy innate talent that Lambert possesses and wants to help promote it (like Meatloaf). Yes, the EJ connection and endorsement is big. Good for Adam.

I went to an Elton John concert late last year and true to form, he rocked the stage for 2 and ½ hours straight and he turned 65 this year!! So I’d welcome any Adam/Elton collaboration – perhaps write a song or two together.

I’d love Adam to collaborate with Queen to write a song or two and I guess that would mean Adam would need to sing it with them solely or would he be able to perform it with his own band?

Maybe Adam and Elton will sing a duet in Kiev .... it's giving me goosebumps just thinking about it! :)

Elton was obviously smitten by Adam. It seems strange that international superstars are loving Adam like crazy and yet the US industry still is lacking. Prehaps once the Album is released they will come to their senses and realise a superstar has overtaken them!

Takes a Great like Elton to recognize a great like Adam.

Will take it and most likely will be humbled at what I think I know! haha...Glitzylady explained the Adam/Queen performances well and there is no conflict, just a win, win for Adam. It also gives Adam an immense oppottunity to benefit from their years of experience and wisdom. He also is having the opportunity to showcase his spectacular voice with one of the greatest rock bands of all time and exceptionally accomplished musicians. It shows that Adam is equally as adept and comfortable on stage and not intimidated or overshadowed by their aqccomplishments. Adam is an equally powerful performer and what a spectacular pairing. Roger and Brian know greatness when they hear it and made the most obvious choice.

I passed the Elto quiz, but got two wrong and my lp top skipped and didn't count two.Guess I'll just have to study harder! haha
