Sexy Adam!!!
Reminds me of Errol Flynn!!!:):):)
mustache, muscles, smiles, sexy eyes, etc,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Our Beautiful Handsome Rock Star!!!
TALC is posting great HD videos of sound check and concert at Pitts. Pride. Check out their youtube channel.
The concert video's I've seen so far sound PERFECT! Adam's incredable voice sailing cleanly and clearly above his tight, on point, great sounding band. So proud of them all. What a joy to listen to... and watch. WOW!
Adam always looks spectacular and gives yummy eye candy, but it's so important to get the band volume and intensity - to - Adam's voice - ratio correct. And they did! This is the way a live rock performance should sound.
YES! YES! YES! ADAM ... all of you knocked it out of the park. Congratulations!

I'm addicted listening to this cover of Shout:

JUST WOW!!!
WOW! Read what Brian May says about The Voice!
QUEEN’s BRIAN MAY Blogs All Over ‘THE VOICE’ – “The Ultimate Insult To Music & Performers”
Queen guitarist Brian May has taken no prisoners in his scathing appraisal of televised singing contest The Voice.
The critique was published on May’s personal website, where the English musician takes aim at his homeland’s version of The Voice:
“In my opinion, “The Voice” is absolutely the dullest, dumbest, most depressing programme on TV.
It’s also the ultimate insult to music and to performers.
“Young singers busting their guts trying to win somebody’s attention, who is rudely sitting with their back to the singer … It brings singing down to the level of a stupid obstacle course on ‘It’s A Knockout’.
This is not – NOT – what music is about.”
May goes on the explain that a singer is more than their voice and a performance needs to be seen in order for it to be fully understood and appreciated.
The outraged Queen guitarist also writes that the format of The Voice is damaging to young singers:
“When we sing, or play, for real, we are NOT screaming at the top of our lungs trying to persuade someone to notice us …
The performance is all about EVERYTHING the performer gives.
“This stupid, stupid idea that someone can JUDGE a singer by turning his back on him, and missing out on proper contact, is, to me, a fatuous nonsense.
And actually poisonous to the growth of young performers.”
The current season of The Voice UK airs on BBC1 and features a judging panel of Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, Jessie J, and Danny O’Donoghue.
In his blog May expresses disappointment that a performer the calibre of Jones has become involved with The Voice:
“I hate seeing the great Tom Jones shoehorned into this scenario … it seems to deprive everyone who takes part of their dignity.
“I hope this vile programme dies a natural death very soon.”

I don't like the other talent shows that stole the idea from American Idol. I only support Idol because of Adam. Never watched The Voice or XFactor.
Without saying anything about various singing competitions or talent shows (not competent, cause watch them only now and then)... I totally agree with Brian May, when he writes... And I have written the same sentiments here myself many times...
"...A singer is more than their voice...and a performance needs to be seen in order for it to be fully understood and appreciated...
"The performance is all about EVERYTHING the performer gives."
Edpecially the sentence right above... I have only THREE WORDS to add:
ADAM EFFIN LAMBERT!!!
The Man personifies EVERYTHING a performer can give!!!
LTAF
Oh I was wondering what Tom Jones was up to. Good to see he is a Sir now.
Erroll Flynn! No way! To me he looks like a Village People -character with those mustache and black leather vest with spikes. Only a leather cap is missing. He really is into LGBT-style nowadays.
In defence of The Voice which I don't watch and find boring, the idea is to put aside, for a moment, a person's appearance. In Hollywood, where lesser voices do better because they are good looking, this is an issue. It may be better now that MTV and MuchMusic are on the way out but remember Simon telling Jennnifer Hudson that she was too fat?
NVM. Adam wins first place, seen or unseen.

@2:44 AM - I feel the way you do.
Say what you will about American Idol, but it is the mother of all these singing contest shows.
4:48, I agree with your comments. "The Voice" is trying to make it about vocal talent and nothing else.
The Voice may attempt to choose the initial contestants for their voice only, but Brian May does have a point. A singer is more than just the singing. It's body language, attitude, visual nuance, etc. Brian argues that all those things should be part of the preliminary choice, too, because all those things are what the singer is about, not the voice alone. Let's face it, lots of great "singing performers" are not the greatest singers. But they are the whole package and are wonderful even if they don't have the greatest voices. I love those rock "growlers" like Rod Stewart and Joe Cocker. I love Mick Jagger.I love some singers who don't have great range and couldn't belt a high note to save their lives. As much as Brian admires Adam's stellar voice, he knows Adam is much more than justs that. I have never watched The Voice, but I assume that after the early "blind" rounds, the singers are out there in front of the judges doing their thing. Brian just feels like the blind part isn't really valid, I guess.
Can't wait to see what Queen and Adam have up their sleeves about a TV performance in the future!!!
DRG
I've tried watching the Voice but just cannot get into it....it is all about the judges and very little about the contestants...even with winning...its Blakes won, or Adams won....
I think Brians comments are a bit over the top, but I do agree with the fact that it is never just about the voice.
perhaps Adam is keeping the moustache for the Queen event as a nod to Freddie..
Even though The Voice judges don't initially see the contestants, as soon as they are selected, they start working on the "presentation" of the singers. I don't think many "new" singers have that IT factor that Adam had. He was simply born with it and that's what makes him an amazing performer plus, of course, his otherworldly voice. As far as performing in a "Band", my opinion is, if there was no performance value, who would watch? That's one reason the lead singer is so important in a band besides the voice of course. Maybe that's what Brian May was referring to.

interesting and respectful exchange going on here about the Voice
7:05 Everyone weatrs a moustache on Freddie Day in September to support AIDS research. Maybe they will perform then.
I hoping Queen and Adam will do a concert in the US that will be filmed for TV. Inp
I have a feeling this special event with Queen will be filmed in England and shown here in the US on TV. Personally I would hate that! We need a chance to see Queen and Adam together LIVE!!
The WORLD needs to hear Adam and Queen perform live together, not just the US.
I'm not a fan of any of these reality TV talent shows but I think the blind auditions on "The Voice" are a good idea. It means the judges aren't influenced initially by anything apart from the contestants' voices and after all, this show is called "The Voice".
