How about a slumber party, Glamberts? We can play with the paper dolls in our jammies.

Hey, rose petal. I'm DRG at 3:29. Glad you're in a party mood with me. Yeah, we could invite Adam over in his jammies and then play spin the bottle or something. Ah, those were the days...

The paper doll is starting to grow on me the more I see of it. Would like to know what Adam thinks of it.

Just one question. Do the briefs come off as well? Wink wink.

@5:09 PM Well to get the paper Adam you have to go to the article and make your own copy. Once you have it, you can make any adjustments to make it look more like Adam. :)

@DRG & rose petal....can I join the party? For some reason, I really think this paper doll set is quite cool.

The body, the proportions, no resemblence to Adam. Too muscular, where are the looong legs.. etc

Btw, do today's children know what a paper doll is? Do they make them? (don't mean computer stuff)

@1:05 Looks like they did a good job on the etc. Tee hee I also wonder if they still make paper dolls.

This is a great addition to a glambert birthday party. I might cut out a few.

JAK here....yes they do still make paper dolls but they are not like the ones you probably remember.

But, you can buy facsimiles of the "old Hollywood" dolls.
I bought some as a house warming/decorating party gift for a friend a few months back. She makes furniture and accessories for doll houses. I used to make tiny paintings and the doll family figures for her. Her new workroom was going to have a 40 and 50's theme collage (in the original artistic meaning of the word) wall.

She had a collection of photos of male movie stars in WWII uniforms.....Kirk Douglas, Henry Fonda, Jimmy Stewart, Glenn Ford, Clark Gable, etc.
They all served during wartime......an interesting note...
Mel Brooks was one who had a pretty important job......he deactivated land mines! ^o^

I bought her paper dolls of Judy Garland, Betty Grable,
Ava Gardner, Elizabeth Taylor, Esther Williams and Lana Turner to add to the collage. I gave her a few of my dad's Army medals and service ribbons and a copy of a photo of my gorgeous dad with Bob Hope at a USO show. With all the gifts the wall is a work of art (which of course is what a collage is)........... : ))))

You can tell which side of the definition I'm on!
