Las Vegas Sun: Adam Lambert Entertains in sold-out show at the Foundry

Singer Adam Lambert, long ago an “American Idol” runner-up to Kris Allen (trivia answers: Season 8 in 2009), sings that he’s “here for your entertainment,” and he more than lived up to his lyrics in a sold-out performance at the Foundry on Friday night in SLS Las Vegas.
Thirty-four-year-old Lambert’s opening outfit and incredible vocals were both red hot, the former in the form of a red leather vest, red shorts and red knee-high boots, the latter his signature big voice with even bigger notes.
The new Foundry was the perfect intimate venue to showcase Lambert’s talents, from vocals and staging to fashion sense — there were at least three costume changes for fabulous fashionista Lambert (the red, a sharp suit and blue-and-white denim) — and choreography.
