Pharaoh has big ears, like those of a fox; its eyes seem always on guard, not the curious or fawning look for attention or food; Adam's care might change that a bit; perhaps that's its natural look.

I've lived with several dogs, a brown pomeranian (Pompy), a white bichon (Choo-Choo), 3 ordinary mongrels (Tommy, Hitam, Judy). Judy was real smart, trained to pee in the bathroom, no need for newspaper/corner etc. I remember the last hours of Hitam, staring with watery eyes at my passed-on Father who walked him every day. Several hours later Hitam took his eternal sleep. My brother put it in a sack, threw it over his shoulder and took him to the nearby hillside which happened to be a real cemetery; dug a grave and buried it.

By the way, I wrote a story (2015) / Ghost Town where Bert returned to find devastation and lo and behold found his dog Chewy stuck in a narrow sewage tunnel. Well, well, I had no idea then Adam would have a dog.
Pharaoh is so lucky to inherit such a beautiful environment and loving master.

By the way, 'Hitam' means black in Malay.
