DIGITAL JOURNAL
Review: Adam Lambert stunning with 'New Eyes' single on 'Ellen'

http://www.digitaljournal.com/entertainment/music/review-adam-lambert-stunning-with-new-eyes-single-on-ellen/article/551048#.XPIDFjNEn2I.twitter

"As always, Lambert maintained exceptional control over his rich, rumbling voice and made it seem effortless. He exuded charisma and it is evident that he was born to sing and entertain. His performance of "New Eyes" on Ellen garnered an A rating."

OT, I know, but I saw Rocket Man last night. Completely different type of film from BoRhap, but I liked it very much. The actor who played Elton was great and he did all his own singing. The film had a totally different style, purpose, structure and tone from BR. Of course, Elton is alive and well and had complete control of the content of the film. It surprised me in a good way. As for the sexual content, it was there, but frankly, it wasn't as graphic as I thought it would be. But the R-rating is appropriate, nevertheless.

Great review.

Dee R Gee, thanks for your comments about Rocketman. I'm so looking forward to seeing this movie but I'm going to try and wait 'til at least some of the hype dies down. I might see it more than once as I did with Bohemian Rhapsody.

Yeah, Dee R Gee...great review...next time I'm considering seeing a movie, I'll just ask you instead of visiting Rotten Tomatoes. Sometimes professional critics are too "snooty", IMO.
