Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta are having such success touring together that they've decided to keep going.

Due to popular demand and fan petitions by both Allison's fans and Adam's fans, Allison has been invited to continue on the Glam Nation North American Tour through the end of September.

Allison's biggest post-"Idol" hit is "Don't Waste the Pretty," featuring Australian rock guitarist Orianthi (also on the Glam Nation Tour). Does anyone know what the 'deal' was with Allison as the opening act? I just thought she was committed for the entire tour from the beginning...but guess it wasn't so. So anxious for my first show in Vegas next week!!!
Crazy me....I took off work to go online and purchase presale Adam tkts for HI. Not an easy task...not getting any good seats. What's up with that? How can that be when I was an early bird??

Thrilled to pieces to be able to see Allison next week with Adam!!!! Adamluv

Glitz and Sparkles, the good seats are taken the first few minutes they go on sale :( Unfortnately. But you'll still be able to experience Adam performing there. You'll have fun :D

I love Allison and I'm so glad that she's getting work with Adam. Adam loves helping out his friends.

I really enjoyed Allison last night in Seattle, she did a great job and looked so pretty....It's so hard to remember that she is just 18. She really rocked the house...and paved the way for Adam (as if he needed to have the way paved....).. I am so happy that he has given her this great opportunity.

OT:
Adamluv...the Costa Mesa concert? It's a little challenging to keep up with all the glamsisters' concerts...sometimes have to make notes.

Really thought I would get good seats .. was online just when the presale opened...must have slow fingers...but 'main ting' I got tkts!!! Concert hall = seats...who is gonna sit down???

G&S, Yes, both nites and then at san Diego. Big contrast between hugh outdoor venue and a much smaller indoor theater experience. Interesting to see and hear the differences! Adamluv

So glad 24/7 posted this. I think Allison's album "Just Like You" is awesome, as I've said before, I listen to it all the time. And what I love about it is that my kids love it (very kid-friendly songs as it should be for Allison right now) but also some songs with awesome mass appeal too, and my hubby loves it as well because it has a real rock edge... we can listen to it in the car all together, no problem, how nice!!

OFF TOPIC ALERT:
And speaking of hubby - he got me my own iPod for early birthday present (and little speakers for it which he rigged up in bedroom, he's no dummy ;)) and I had previously been sharing my ipod w/ one of my children, so I couldn't keep certain things on my favorites list - like certain steamy WLL performances and such (just cuz this child is quite young and that was just the parental call I made) and anyway, my hubby is a doll (and had selfish reasons too, lol, but mostly just a doll) and got me my own new iPod... been loading stuff on it today... and came across the WLL from Nokia Theatre/NYC - and oh man, why did I NOT have this on my computer-based favorites list?????

Just thought it was smokin' hot and I don't hear this one talked a lot about like Foxwoods and Milwaukee and a few others. Sorry to ramble, was just totally in awe of this rendition, thought you guys might enjoy strolling down memory lane as well.

ps. Speaking of birthdays, Happy Birthday again to all those glamsisters that I just discovered have birthdays right about now on an old thread!!

I hope that Allison will get her own tour.

MGF,Your hubby is no dummy! What a sweet guy, a def. keeper! I think Allison was tobe on the first 1/2 of tour[both in the beginning]and Orianthi the last leg,as only Orianthi was originally scheduled for Raleigh and now, I'm happy to say, Allison. She rocks the walls and is the perfect lead in for Adam. I also like their history together and he's such a great example for her to follow. I think she's bebefitted so much already from his professional experience and he'll watch out for her and warn her of pitfalls. She has that electric quality too, a cross between Bonnie Raitt and Joan Jett with a smidge of Janis Joplin, IMHO.Orianthi great, but overlong and overkill when Monte can do it all. This tour has really settled in now and all are polished and so in sync. The best part is they all seem to love it as much as we do. I would love to see them do at least one song together, maybe just before the encore, but that's a lot for Adam with all of the energy he puts into each song. So glad, smart mgt. decision. funbunn40

I Love Allison :DD So this is good news for me. Her album is so underrated!!

There are some really annoying Gaga and Allison fans among Adam fans. I wish he gets rid of them asap.

Anonymous said...

Great choice to keep Allison for the rest of the tour... she's a keeper!!! Can't wait to see her live and of course to see Adam live again!!!

Orianthi is good too... I guess scheduling conflict.

What I mean is we don't need these loud Gaga and Allison fans here. All they talk about is how Adam should collaborate with these artists.

Allison is great and has a terrific voice. That being said, I did not like her performance at the concert. I could not hear her voice through the noisy base pounding. Actually left during her set and found lots of other people in the lobby having the same difficulty. Don't know if it's her band, sound system or choice, but it's terrible and very disappointing. She looked great and owned the stage. Hello!! Have someone with decent hearing sit in the audience on sound check. Adam's part was amazing but again, some of the background did its best to drown out his voice. Adam's voice is so strong that he came through loud and clear. Not the case with Allison. This is my opinion and my experience. I have good hearing (at least I did), and I like bold sound. But when it vibrates your entire body to the point of nausea and pretty much deafens you, then I think it's gone too far.

As much as I hated the Washington Post review, the idiot was on target with the sound criticisms and people holding their ears. In fact there were a couple of kids crying in the lobby during Allison's set because their ears hurt.

Really think most of those sound engineers are hearing impaired already. Would welcome other comments on this subject as this was my experience. It's not deterring me from attending other Adam concerts as I love him, but I will carry high quality ear plugs. Too bad.

The tour is that long ? Damn that means he won't show up for the MTV VMA :(

Anonymous said...

I really hope Allison and Adam do at least one duet together, but I understand how difficult it would be to change the order of the concert. Maybe at the very end???

Anonymous said...

No duets. Adam addressed that. It's probably a management decision, and his performance has a theme.

Anonymous said...

Is there anyone on the entire blog going to Lubbock?

Anonymous said...

Allison is Adam's third leg. lulz.

Anonymous said...

Happy Birthday, MGF. You do have a smart hubby!

My B-day is next week and will spend next weekend on Cape Cod. Actually have Melody Tent tickets. Really enjoyed the Nokia rewind.

Duets?! Great! What does this mean "Allsion is Adam's third leg"?
She is a great, talented singer with high personality!

6:02 Allison is Adam's third leg?

If I were to call Adam a tripod, I would never attribute it to Allison. haha

Anonymous said...

Tripod?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HAHAHA!
Careful, you can upset Adam's fans :):):)

Anonymous said...

MGF 2:52 I have to agree with you on WLL at Nokia. Very soothingly warm to burning hot. Yum. However, we will never see Adam on the stairs again making baby step stools to be born in 9 months.:(

I've come to the conclusion that your tag is a tad incorrect. Instead of MassGlamFan, should be MassiveGlambertFanatic.:) You rule. Thanks.

Careful, you can upset Adam's fans who call him "SWEETYYYYYY Adam":)

Anon @6.02 here.

It was meant to be a joke, y'know, seeing the word 'leg' in the title of this post. Even though she's one talented lil lady, she's still no match for Adam's REAL third leg a.k.a the Glambulge. lol. Okay, now I'm comparing a woman with a penis. *facepalm*

They said that that venue had the worst accoustics on the planet, in fact the whole venue was the worst place.
Adam has said repeatedly, that he wants to sing alone, he might sing with someone for a one time thing, But he definitely wants to be in his own box.

Anonymous said...

awwww darn and here I thought I could have him in my box.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, get IN my juicebox, biatch. :D

They left off the 7/24 concert at Thunder Valley Casino. The Casino is still saying Orianthi will be there, they even tweeted this yesterday. Can't wait-row 5 reserved! For those of you who can't get tix, don't forget you can get GREAT seats through Stub hub even though you might pay a lot it will be worth it!

@Michael - awww, thanks. Keep posting w/ your tag! RE Nokia WLL - I know, right? Double-Yumsville. But I'm not sure I understand what you meant by "...However, we will never see Adam on the stairs again making baby step stools to be born in 9 months.:(" Sorry, I'm a little slow on the uptake sometimes, please explain :).

@funbunn40 - love your description of Allison...I really do think her cd is great - love Trouble Is and Scars...and well, all of them really, every single one... I've only felt that about FYE and Pink's Funhouse in years and years.

@AdaGrammie July 21 6:21PM -

OFF TOPIC Alert:

Thanks. Do you mind if I ask which town on the Cape? Is it Upper Cape, Mid Cape or lower Cape? Just Curious. My family heading to Cape for vacation in just under a week. Hope you have fun w/ your Melody Tent tix for your birthday! Question - do you have tix for GNT for Melody Tent? Or just South Shore Music Circus show? I wish I got tix to Melody Tent too, family has beach house on Cape...but went for Music Circus for reasons which I won't bore everyone with here... actually, don't live far away from Rhode Island Lupos venue either...wish I had tix to that GNT show as well, and Hampton Beach :), but didn't want to tick off the hubby, as I said, he is a good guy...didn't want to be a spoiled brat :)!!

oh Michael @ 8:44 PM - I think I just got it!! Ha Ha - so funny (again, I'm a little slow sometimes, how embarrassing for me!!). Was going about my day, doing my work etc., and it just occurred to me what you meant, lol. And actually, it was the perfect thing to say to me because I am one (among many I'm sure) who has always HOWLED with laughter at the "AL just impregnated the entire audience" jokes - that sprung up after Fantasy Springs WLL and have continued...so funny. And yes, I fear you're 100% right Michael, I think the now famous "Stairs" thing might have been a one shot deal (no pun intended ;))... but we can always dream, right??!! And hey, I'm not complaining because I witnessed the utterly delectable Foxwoods WLL Live - which I personally still consider to be, so far, way way up on the top of the list of the most delicious WLL's. Anyway, I'm rambling (big surprise...NOT) but just wanted to say that I think I got your "baby step stools" joke now - ha ha, too funny.

well, Adam seems to be pretty headstrong..he's goin to do what he's goin to do...I guess he's pretty comfortable with this family/schoolteacher image he's portraying..to be honest...not sure if he's being honest with himself...but Allison can definitely hold her own..she just doesn't think she can when she's around certain people....

Thunder Valley concert was a bomb. Started at 7:30 - stage emptied at 8:15 and Adam did not appear until 9:30. No word as to why as the audience became drunker and louder. No one set down during concert therefore no one but front rows could see. I could not even tell you what he wore. Love Adam BUT concert a bomb. He rushed the encore of "Mad World" so much it was a shame - almost like he wanted out of there also.

Allison needs to come off the tour A.s.A.P..I know she loves Adam and she wants to travel but she's just not ready for the life behind the music..
