Very upbeat interview. Chad Pitt all right in my book. Adam looks rested and happy. Amazing with the killer schedule he keeps. Had to laugh when Chad mentioned about being afraid of going into the South. Adam's positive message resounds everywhere. In fact,he has played more shows in the south than in the good ole liberal west.
I think it is so cool that the A symbol in the Glamnation Tour is connected to Nathanael Hawthorne's novella "The Scarlet Letteer" I'm sure he would have loved it were he alive today--intense man that he was. That places Adam Lambert and the Glamnation Tour right into the very heart of what it means to be American in its appeal for compassion, for acceptance of differences, and for an integrity of the spirit that goes beyond strict interpretations of right and wrong.
Yeh, Adam says he hasnt had much formal education, but to my mind he appears to be very well educated in things in the book world music world anything really he is a very intelligent person, not to mention all his other obvious trates.
Now I ask you - how am I supposed to not be madly in love with this guy??
Between the NOLA vids and this interview - how am I not supposed to love him? I surely don't know.
I loved every damn second of this interview. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that we got some more concrete discussion from AL about The Scarlet Letter business (one of my fav books WOOT WOOT, it's a Massachusetts/Boston thing, lol). Robin/4:52's comment about Hester Prynne and AL being BFF's is so funny (and probably right on the money :)). Oh man, just everything... just everything he said, how he said it, why he said it... and Chad Pitt, you rock dude, you done yourself proud with this, be proud.
How am I supposed to not love Adam Lambert? I surely don't know. I guess when he looks out into his audiences and sings - Well it's plain to see you were meant for me - there's truth in that beyond measure. Sorry to ramble, sorry to not write/post intelligently, this was just...nice, and how I do love me some nice.
As a retired high school English teacher, I absolutely love the references to the "A" on his hat and Hawthorne's novel THE SCARLET LETTER. I have always said that Adam is very articulate(which he proves here) and intelligent. Adam and Hester Prynne: proud, strong, loving individuals giving the letter "A" a positive meaning in life. How could you not love this guy?
This is such a wonderful interview, one of the best. I agree with everything previously posted. Don't want to turn this political but Adam is still very young and idealistic as most of us were/are and will someday realize that conservatives too love him and can also be very openminded.
There is an interesting article on the Scarlett letter theme that I recommend! - http://glamazinggrace.blogspot.com/2010/07/adams-scarlet-letter-sin-transformed.html I found it very interesting. Adamluv
This is the second dj that has said he was a "brother from another mother". Adam really seemed to be on the same wave-length as this guy. I agree with everyone that is "adamized" cuz I am too. Loved the info about his hat. Loved his whole demeanor. Love him period. Adam I know you don't get why everyone is crazy over you - but you are so...talented and loveable!
Another articulate interview by Adam. I find it fascinating that he is so creative and knowledgeable to think of using the "A" for double purpose and send a message to those who think he 'sins'. What an amazing and highly intelligent man. Gotta luv him -
I read that essay a while back also, about Adam and the "A" on his hat. At the time, I thought that, while very in-depth and interesting, the author was making "much ado about nothing". Boy, was I wrong!! I take it all back and kudos to the author for seeing right away the intricate thoughts and ideas that Adam has, despite (or maybe because of?!) his lack of "formal education". Another wonderful interview. V

If Hester Prinn could come to life and be in this era, she and Adam would be best friends.
I loved this interview with Adam's brother from another mother.
It's great that Adam gets the fact that he is loved all over the US...even here in Idaho by a very politically conservative citizen.

Did I miss where and when this interview took place? Very enjoyable. Could really see Adam and this guy hanging out, having a "beer" together. Adamluv

Great interview... very laxed as in relaxed.
I LOVE THAT NEW RIHANNA SONG TOO
