American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert popped into my office this week.

We talked Gaga, Madonna and how the gay rising star coped with US uproar over his saucy ­performance at the American Music Awards.

Adam, whose debut album For Your Entertainment is out May 3, says some Americans took offence at a dance move which ­included a simulated sex act.

"But let's be honest," he adds. "Madonna did worse on stage how many years ago. She made me appreciate raw ­ sexuality in perform­ance. There are so many people in the States so ashamed and ­fearful of ­sexuality. I don't get it."

Apparently, Adam told News of the World this (although he didn't say that on video interview posted below. Not sure if he was misquoted by News of The World) :

“I am single and mingling – and ladies you have a chance!”

Star of American Idol and soon to be mega star Adam Lambert talks to Ollie Hayes @ Hallam FM in between signing autographs and posing for photos for fans.

In an interview with Heatworld.com, Adam Lambert revealed that he will release his first EP, which will be a remix of his hit songs, will be released on April 14, 2010. Voodoo will be included in the EP.

For those wondering about the third single "If I Had You,"! Good news! Adam said that he will start shooting the video in April!
