Wants to find out what fans would like on the next album - good move.
As though he wasn't busy enough, haha
He probably has hired help to sort through all this

I just came from the fan club and enjoyed reading through all of it.

I think these are someone else's words to drum up some interest for the fan club. The wording doesn't sound like Adam. and he rarely responds to twitter questions. Really I don't think Adam cares what his fans eat or their fashion. He saw his fans on tour he has a pretty good idea who they are. I don't buy the message it feels like fan club manipulation.

well, anyways, if I could share something about myself with Adam, which I would very much like to share with all of you here at 24/7,
There are two people I believe, as two of the three people in this world, the third being Adam Lambert, who are beautifully & technically skilled musical vocalists in the world!!

Thank you for letting me share this with you. K

The odds:

Yes 1,40

Yes 1,30

Please don't shatter my illusion that Adam is waiting impatiently to hear from me!

I'm old, I'm self delusional let me be happy in my waning days. That's not much to ask!

I went to the site and had a nice chat with him and now since it's 3:22 am here in Florida I'm signing off.

Nope, doesn't sound a bit like him.

I'm amused by the level of detail we know about Adam and his life. I was showing my friend a concert vid and she laughed at me for knowing the names of all his dancers and musicians.

I decided not to mention that we all knew that it was Neil he was wrestling with on the beach based on his hair cut and build, or that I recognized Sutan from the bit of his jaw line and a shoulder that was in the frame of one of the photos from Disneyland.

Ok, seeing as I'm still not a member of the official fan club,I know, I'm a bad fan:( I'll put some answers here too..
1) music, well 1st love was Elvis, I was 11 when he died. David Essex when I was a young teen, Paul young as a late teen, loved the music of the 80's. Also loved Boyzone. Now anything by a certain man named Adam ...
2)fashion, anything that doesn't make me look fatter than I am...
3)food,lots, but especially Thai, pasta, salmon and chocolate (milk)
4)would love to go back to Rome, actually all over Italy.
5)Don't know, but I'll always have a soft spot for 'please don't go' by KC and the Sunshine band as it was the 1st song me and my husband danced to on my 15th birthday.(although obviously he wasn't my husband at the time!!!)

Since I come here often, like to share with my friends

(1) I like any kind of music as long as they have nice melody and tunes, but prefer soft type when I play them. I grew up playing piano and still do. My recent favorites are You're my everything, Marriage D'amour,Memory, Madame Butterfly, Alone, Grenade, Family potriat, Nothing else matter, Halo and Just a Dream and many more. Of course mostly Adam's song. There is something special in his voice.

(2) No Fashion sense and anything comfortable to wear from Head to toe.

(3) Like Japanese, Korea and media hot food and semi sweet desert.

(4) A place where I can see the whole planet, probably outerspace. More realistic one, Top of Mt Everest or in the middle of a vast desert. Always have that in my dream.

(5) Very hard one, I have a lot. Sleepwalker and Can't let you go. They grew on me a lot lately.

OK, you all have enticed me to leave my own here for my 24/7 friends too:

1. Happy, uplifting music these days mostly (and mostly Adam of course!)

I started out with Beatles, 5th Dimension ("Age of Aquarius" especially), Strawberry Alarm Clock, Jefferson Airplane, Yes, Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, Electric Light Orchestra, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, James Taylor, Carole King, early Elton John and early Genesis, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks....later on: Grateful Dead + Mozart, Bach, Handel, Strauss + Annie Lennox + Alanis Morissette &, Paula Cole, Sarah Maclachlan. Then ADAM ADAM ADAM.

2. Annie Hall + Stevie Nicks combined with casual Jackie Onassis.

3. Greek! Yummmmm!

4. Paris (again), Florence, Havasu Falls, all sorts of mountain tops. (I LOVE mountain tops!)

5. Ripple + the last half of Brokedown Palace by The Grateful Dead ("I want to listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock my soul")

:)
Sweetie

p.s. apologies for typos, it won't let me correct them.

I do not believe this is from Adam. It is from a fan site that you need to join and requires a fee. Adam would never ask those kinds of questions.

Anonymous said...

omg,it's not that deep @ anon 10:51pm.It was a fun thing to do in the fan club just like everyone here is doing. I know alot of people in the fan club now and enjoyed reading more about them and about you guys too.Oh well there always has to be a killjoy in the bunch.anon 8:01am your not very much fun either.

It could be Adam. You'd think he knows about the 2000+ "real fans", but he doesn't know about the "majority" of his fans, those who are more quiet and not as visible. But in the other hand the majority of fans don't join the fan club, but prefer blogs like these, where the "real fans" come to tell them to stop commenting and get out of here. Can't win.

LP said...

I thought Leila was in charge of the fan club. I joined it when it first opened, didn't buy anything. But now it seems we have to pay to join, sounds odd.

Anonymous said...

This is from Adam's fan club site and his mother is in charge or did get it off the ground and there is a membership fee as with most fan club sites.

Anonymous said...

@LP there was always a fee to join like all other fan clubs. Maybe you were in it when they had a trial period in the beginning. I really enjoy the fan club just like here and my house shows it. lol

Anonymous said...

I can't believe Adam wrote this either. It's not his style of expression at all. That being said, I see no harm in it. So go ahead, everybody! Join in! If it gets the word out more about Adam and how many fans he has, so be it! Anything to keep him in the forefront. BTW, does anyone think he'll be seen on some shows promoting the GNT DVD? Hope so!

glitzylady said...

Whether or not Adam actually wrote it, he is probably at least aware of it. Maybe he really is interested..I enjoy the fan club, mainly as a way to connect with other fans and to be able to communicate with someone without giving out private info to the entire world, as I would have to here. The fee is minimal at $9.95 per year, unless you want a t-shirt etc., and then its $29.95. Also the only way to get Meet and Greets for the most part. Works for me. I've met some interesting people there. Guess I should think about my "list"...Hmmmm....

I'd like to visit Yemen. The homeland of coffee and the oldest block of flats. They look like ginger bread houses in the pictures. I can't understand the hate towards Yemen. All the western war ships there. Also, I think arabic food is good and lebanese. I don't know about the island destinations, the best are probably in the Pacific, such as Tahiti and Cook Islands, with the black pearls and everything. Maybe I just add Seychelles and Saint Vincent.

@ Aurora Too funny! I had a similar experience with my long life friends, now living in US, who had hardly heard of Lambert. They googled him and, without looking, just listening for 3 seconds, I was able to tell them which (preIdol) YT video it was and what he was wearing in it. That was quite a shock to them!
@Sweetie :-) Mountain tops... the only way for me to be next to God...or part of the Universe! We should meet up there one day and chat about Lambert. HaHaHa.
Sorry, I’m not dreaming of Mt Everest. I’m more for hiking/trekking than climbing. More into bittersweet physical exhaustion than into near death experiences. Not at all fond of pulmonary edema!
To all: thanks for sharing... Nice knowing (about) you. I’m not good at favorites, but I guess I might live on chocolate only. The extra/dark one; the white one makes no sense to me at all. When traveling (anywhere really), I also like to combine business with leisure... Love road tripping. I get bored in one place. :-)

Have you SEEN that site? It goes on FOREVER.

Surely no human will actually have to read it, and definitely not Adam. If so, we'll be waiting till the year 2012 or 2013 for the new album...........JAK

Anonymous said...

OK, this is fun (but notice we're all responding here, rather than on the fan site - ha, ha!)...thanks to all those who have shared.

Let's see...

1. What kind of music do you like to listen to?
Massive Attack, The White Stripes, Portishead, The Gorillaz, The The, Thievery Corp, old punk rock, Indian-influenced Tabla/world beats, drum & bass/trip-hop, Stan Getz, remixed samba, Stereo MC's, Reggae, Air, old hip-hop (Beastie Boys, Run DMC), dance-electronica, classical, choirs! I like to mix it up.

2. What are your fashion influences?
Oh boy - that's tough! I'm in the fashion biz so it's hard to pick a fave...my all-time faves would have to be Jean Paul-Gaultier and John
Galliano. They both infuse drama and theatricality in their clothes, and are not afraid to take risks!

3. Whats your favorite type of food?
Brie, pizza, caramel, jo-jo's/tator tots/anything fried (ha, ha!), sparkling rosemary-infused lemonade, campari/soda

4. If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Well, Venice - of course - but I've already been there twice...so, for someplace new, Australia!

5. If you could have a soundtrack song for you life, what would it be?
The Girl From Ipenema by Astrud Gilberto/Stan Getz. I have very happy, sunny memories of listening to this song with my husband when we first met. It's sort of "our song".

I find this exciting too so here we go:

1)I used to listen only to samba, bossa nova, cool jazz, latin jazz and standards. All time favorites are ANTONIO CARLOS JOBIM, STAN GETZ, DIZZY GILLESPIE, MILES DAVIS, ASTRUD GILBERTO, ELLA FITZGERALD, BILLIE HOLIDAY, LANI HALL, SERGIO MENDEZ & BRAZIL 66, DIANA KRALL, LISA ONO, STACEY KENT, FRANK SINATRA, NAT KING COLE AND NATALIE, LOUIE ARMSTRONG, MEL TORME, AL JARREAU lol i better stop here. But now, only Adam deserves my full attention :)

2) I would go for clothes and accessories with ethnic and tribal designs.

3) I love authentic Italian, Japanese and Thai food. But my latest favorite is GREEK, oh so yummy!

4) I would like to see Paris and Austria.

5) WHAT ARE YOU DOING THE REST OF YOUR LIFE (THE HAPPY ENDING) BY MICHEL LEGRAND, HOME (THE WIZ), MORE THAN A WOMAN (SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER), HOW DO YOU KEEP THE MUSIC PLAYING (BEST FRIENDS) & MY STRONGEST SUIT (AIDA).

Lol @Adam Fix, The Girl From Ipanema is my national anthem. Whenever there is a chance for me to sing, friends would request this song and One Note Samba teehee. It's just so nice to know that is has a special place in your heart :) I am all smiles here while encoding this Adam Fix. Miss you more!
