So far, Adam Lambert's charity has raised 294,900 dollars, way past the goal of 290,000 dollars. This is simply amazing!

Great job, everyone! Hope it will grow to $300,000.00! Maybe even 1/2 a million! With all of the eartquakes and disasters in the world, fresh water is not a luxury, but a necessity....OT Still thinking of all in NZ and have been following on CNN. Hope more survivors will be found. Any news from your friend, JadamNZ?

No, No reply from my friend and Adam fan. But I am thinking I will txt or email her again in case she is at home by now. But they are asking we keep the lines of communication open, not to clog them up. But I really want to know, Im sure she will make contact as soon as she can, but her f.Phone could be flat by now and there is no power still in a lot of places so her computer will be useless. There is also another fan in Christchurch that runs our Adam downunder site and there has been nothing on the site from her or her son either, but still same thing could apply re the power etc, they probably have a lot of more important things to consider. Thank you for your concern, which country are you in?

Adam tweeted about an hour ago about the Earthquake in New Zealand and that donations may be made the Red Cross, whose site crashed at least once today..don't know if it was because of Adam's tweet (probably not but you never know)...From the news reports I've seen, it looks like NZ and its people can use all the prayer and monetary aid it can get, as it is a major tragedy, to say the least.

@adamlambert
Adam Lambert
So saddened by news of quake in New Zealand. Please lend aid: http://www.redcross.org.nz/donate

The NZ quake much worse than first reported. I will get on Adam's bandwagon for this effort as well. Wish everyone well in NZ.

OT - I guess Adam and Sauli are back and have managed to stay clear of photographers. Good for them. Part of me wants to see Adam and what they're up to and part of me is glad he is getting some privacy.
I think we might have some slow news days for awhile which is probably good...

My prayers and thoughts are with the people of New Zealand. I will donate to the red cross and of course Adam must be very sad. New Zealand has opened their hearts to him more than many other countries. We can also get the charity water up to $300,000, as many will continue to need water. So happy FYE sales are still going up!

I'm sure it's already 295k :)

Way to go Glamberts, a very giving fandom! Looks like the NZ people are really in need of help ASAP. I can't access the Red Cross link...probably too much traffic at the moment. I'll keep trying.

Re the link to the Red Cross..I just tried it and it worked for me, but then I may have just gotten lucky... I know it has been overloaded off and on today, so try again later. That's good to know so many are contributing.

I just donated and it was very easy. Prayers to our Nz. neighbors.

Jadam NZ, I am also part of our friend's Adam Downunder site, I did recieve an e-mail from her but it was maybe a week or so before the quake. I immediately sent her my prayers she is one of my closest friends who I have met thru Adam.
Just be careful to those who are weak in the stomach, there are vids with graphic content, as I had seen one where they uncovered a man's body in a crushed car. That image , or for any image like that will leave you with the reality that this is a major major blow to NZ! I am thinking about all of you who are in NZ or have family there. It was sad to have seen their cathederal come down, that saddened me. But buildings can always be restored, NOT human lives. Love to all of you! K

The city I live in has been rocked in the last 3 weeks by the shooting deaths of 4 police officers, it's disheartening to hear of such disregard for human life. But the overwhelming generosity of our local citizens to their families has been wonderful.

There are people hurting all over the world and I think when we combine our efforts to help it gives them and us a lift.

@JAK i've gone through many of your posts and i really want to thank you for the pleasure i get from reading them. You are another lucky person to be married to your wonderful hubby for the longest time, congratulations! Not many are as blessed as you are.

I'm sorry to hear about the incidents in your neighborhood and at the same time glad to know how the community has responded to the situation. It just takes one good soul to act and the rest will follow. I still believe in the goodness in every human being and i am amazed at how our dearest Adam brings out the best in all of us.

I also want you to know how happy i am that you decided to join our 24/7 glamily :) Kind regards @JAK.

Love thru Adam,

Awwww @JAK HAPPY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY TO YOU BOTH! People like you deserve all the happiness in the world. Now what i'm usually told is that grandparents are there to spoil their grandchildren LOL. And when things turn ugly all you have to do is return them to their parents teehee. I am guilty myself doing that to the grandchildren of my brother and sister hahaha.

Again wishing you good health and a more blissful life together.

@JadamNZ, You asked what is my country re: my post at the top and I am in Charlotte, NC in America. I've taken care of victims with crushing injuries and it's horrendous. Thanks for keeping us posted and K for comments also. Adam and this site has brought the world much closer together and this disaster affects us in a personal way. ... Thankyou Glitzylady for being on top of it and bringing us the Red Cross link! Will do! I'm so proud of how the Glamberts worldwide stepped up for Charity Water. I hope they wcan help NZ with their needs too. .... Happy anniversary, JAK! Hope you are blessed with many more happy, healthy years! A disaster such as this earthquake makes us appreciate the comforts and love of those in our daily life all the more. funbunn40
