Becca, you are a fellow fan of few words but to the point. Love that you are here! Just wanted you to know that I noticed.

@ daydreamim

I noticed Becca too, and so did HK Fan. I left 2 or 3 messages to Becca because I'm fan of hers but unfortunatelly she never talked back to me. Icon says she may not like a salted castway glambitch with a glambercat. Sigh!

Icon.......(care of Fan4fun)

I find it hard to believe that the Remix of Aftermath didn't find you scooting under the sofa with your ears lying flat against your furry head.

If, indeed you enjoyed it I can only assume you are deaf! My condolences. Grandma JAK

I will be at a PFLAG board meeting when Adam sings on AI tonight...but I will be talking about all of this you can be sure! So proud of him. Let's keep this trend going! Hi to Fan4fun and all you terrific people on this site.

WHY WHY WHY......If an anthem with a knock your socks off beat was wanted AND a youth message was wanted,,,,,why didn't they just release Master Plan from the UK album?

Written by Ryan Tedder and Adam sounds fantastic. It's a "get up and move beat with a follow me into the future message"!

When I first heard it even I (cane or walker) was ready to march.........JAK

JAK.....plus note to Funbunn40

As usual JAK we are in agreement. I have the album with Master Plan and play it often, mostly in my car when I'm on my way to a contentious business meeting. It gets me ready to rumble if needed.

I've begun to suspect that you ARE my grandmother using an alias.

Funbunn40...thank you for kind words to me and the compassion that your comments show........however as you can see I have given my heart to JAK. If she is unable to realize her dream of adopting Adam, I hope she will consider me as a poor substitute.

Love to all you ladies..........KW

@JAK/7:49AM - I LOVE LOVE LOVE (throw about 100 more LOVEs in there) Master Plan... but it sort of has more of a, hmmmm what word to use, I don't know, more of an adversarial tone to it... maybe a bit more of a contentious spirit...

...and Aftermath has such a - kind of soft and wholly undebatable premise and message IMHO

Aftermath good choice for the Trevor Project IMHO. But as for an "anthem" type thing, you know what JAK, I fully expect to see Master Plan used for something in some sort of mainstream media project someday, I really do. And again, on a personal note, I frickin' love Master Plan soooo much... thank goodness I have the UK import of FYE ;)

MGF I completely agree with you! I LOVE Master Plan too. It is like an anthem for the LGBT community...a little "in your face". I think the acoustic version of Aftermath will bring more allies on board. He should get an award for this contribution, too (from the gay community)!

MGF and lmb

You are both right...ACOUSTIC Aftermath is soothing and hopeful and encouraging...sort of gentle..."no more hiding".

But discussion was about the Remix of Aftermath for the Trevor Project.

Master Plan is for the ones who are hiding no more, definitely "in your face". Both songs say something about acceptance, one more harshly, but quite stirring. I love to chat with smart people......and disagreements are exciting.

I have s slightly perverse nature (that's why in addition to loving Adam I also love Neil.)...JAK

You are right! The remix is for the Trevor Project, but more than 3 million people will hear that song on AI and Adam talked about the Trevor Project. The toned down version and a less "glam" Adam will reach those who feel less than normal because of the uneducated, homophobic public. I think this was his target audience...also those who remember him as he was on AI. Just saw his performance. I think Adam delivered tonight. I know there will be other opinions. Don't worry about the judges. Look at the audience on their feet. He is a star.

@JAK, I also love Masterplan and play it before Charlotte govt. meetings when I'm campaigning to save the local branch libraries that are in jeopardy of being closed[ due to lack of funding.]It gets me fired up to plead our case.[respectfully of course!]Good adrenaline rush! I also love a good discussion and Neil and Eber are thought provoking. Love the way Eber's brain is wired!!...@KW, I'm heartbroken, but since I'm so close in age to JAK, Hope you will consider me as a subsitute G-ma and for your partner as well!I don't believe in splitting up loved ones!] Thankyou also for your kind words and insightful posts! Hugs! funbunn40
